@VinAmazing work so far! Could I ask what Modeling program you use? I would like to try modeling as a new past time! It looks fun and creative! ;D

Stunned, my mom was also shocked :(

OMG ! Amazing !Nothing to make, it will be the best from PMDG. It is a treat.

nice...very nice.lol...with all these slivers and pics I'm reminded of that joke the belly gunner in the movie Memphis Belle told..ie a flyer gets shot down over germany and as he loses his limbs he gets the germans to drop it over his base in England....until the punchline...'nein, zis ve cannot do anymore...ve sink you trying to escape' lol....if you think really hard, you could liken that to the slivers we get here....or maybe its just me.

Amazing pic, really cant wait for it to be released. I also would like to know what modelling program you use. At the moment I'm doing basic 3D modelling, with AutoCAD Inventor as part of my graphics subject in school and really enjoy it.

3d Studio Max and it isn't cheap. If you wish to try modeling, GMax and Unreal Ed both offer ways to do 3d modeling and if you buy a game based on the Unreal Engine, you get Unreal Ed free. Remember GMax and Unreal Ed do modeling differently.

A bit off topic, but if you've never done any 3D modeling and want to have a crack at it for FS, I would venture to suggest that the Abacus program FS Design Studio would offer an easier introduction to things. GMax is basically a chopped down freebie version of 3DSMax (which last time I checked was about two and a half grand for a copy), and although GMax is still very capable, that also means that it is not something one can learn overnight, as it bears enough similarity to 3DS to share some of its complexity. FS Design Studio on the other hand is something you can pick up fairly quickly, and it is possible to make fairly detailed FS aircraft with it. Here's part of the forward-firing machine gun on a DeHavilland DH4 I made for FSX, which was done in FSDS:vick3.jpgBoth FSDS and GMax do have tutorials, though, so it's up to you which one you have a crack with. To give you an idea, 3DSMax is one of the programs I teach people on, and that's a five day course to get people with no experience up and running with it. On the other hand, you could probably bang out something for FS with FSDS after a solid afternoon of looking at the built-in tutorials.Al
