May 1, 201016 yr Erich, I may be misunderstanding the guts of how EZCA/TIR works, but I believe what happens when running both is that you disable FSX support for TIR when you rename those manifest files. From then on out, TrackIR isn't recognizing FSX, but it sees EZCA as a "game" and interacts with it instead. You should still get the TIR-enhanced light on your TIR unit when EZCA loads. The only difference is that it's EZCA, and not FSX, that's telling TrackIR what to do.Yes. Is correct. Before use EZCA you should have active internet connection and start update game list on TrackIR. After this , some data will download from Natural Points server and after it EZCA will connect to TrackIR software. For checking this download - open TrackIR software , press titles page and find EZCA. If not found - EZCA will not conect to TIR software and will not work. You can start TIR software before or after start EZCA. Now it is indifferent. If have not connect to TIR , try start TIRsoft before or try start after EZCA.Now you can add TIR software to EXE.XML file (for advanced users) and then TIR will start together with FSX and EZCA with once click on FSX icon. May 1, 201016 yr I am using TrackIR all the time. The only feature, which I will be using in EZDok is the Virtual Pilot's Head effects (turbulences, landing etc) - is it worth purchasing 40USD software for only this one feature? Does this improves immersion so greatly? Thanks a lot.I just got it, and I think it is worth the money. Will you think it is worth $40? - I don't know, but since it is distributed via the Flight1 wrapper you have 30 days to decide. If you don't like it, return it for a full refund. May 2, 201016 yr Commercial Member I think it's well worth it, and I'm only a day or so into exploring. By the way, I paid $35 for it. Maybe the $40 you folks are talking about is in another currency, but it's thirty-five US bucks. All sorted yesterday via the EZdok forum. What a great add-onCheersErich

It's USD 34.95, not 40. Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD
May 2, 201016 yr Thanks for a replies. Yes, it is worth 35 bucks! Very nice add-on. I have found it a little bit difficult to set the head movement as I want, but I read at the producer forum, that it be much better documented pretty soon. Bartłomiej Ender
May 13, 201016 yr Didn't want to start a new topic for this, but I just wanted to say I bought Ezdok today and I am loving it! It works great with my TrackIR. I don't use it to create different views for the pilot (it's easier to simply look around with TIR) but it's great for creating views for the co-pilot and passengers! Very easy to do! And the movement effects are really great and a lot nicer than I expected (I use the default settings for those). It makes it so much more real. The only slight dissapointment was that when you use various levels of zoom, there is no smooth transition when you zoom in and out when switching views... But that's it. After fooling around for a while I was creating and editing views without any problems and in seconds. It's also great that you can move around with the arrows and page up and down, even with TIR enabled.Awesome stuff indeed!
May 15, 201016 yr Wow - just updated to 1.15 with full TrackIR support - WOW WOW WOW !!! Full motion simulation AT THE SAME TIME as TrackIR in use !!!This is amazing - as others have said, what a step up in realism.PS.... It doesn't work "out the box" with TrackIR, check their forum - you have to update to the latest games support in TrackIR, and then rename a couple of simconnect files. It's all on the forum and takes 1 minute to do; then you're off!FSX add-on of the year, if not the decade!
May 15, 201016 yr This is amazing - as others have said, what a step up in realism.... and it finally allows TrackIR users to set the centered viewpoint exactly as desired. Great stuff this addon. May 17, 201016 yr I have had it for a while and like it but I haven't done any customizing due to a lack of time.Right now the biggest issue I am having is understanding the way the FSX cameras and the EZCA Cameras worth together. What I want to do is be able to cycle through the EZCA views the way I did with the FSX views.I have two buttons on my yoke which I have had assigned to switching views:1. Next view in same category2. Next categoryI don't want to have to call up specific views using the keyboard or any other device. I just want two categories - inside and outside and I want to cycle through them using the assignments above. Why you may ask? My hands are on the yoke and TQ and that is where I want them to stay. Is this set up possible? Right now I get the FSX camera views using those assignments and not the EZCA cameras. I also don't get the smooth movement between views.
