Fantastic airplane this Superbug!Does anyone has problem with the camera views? Cannot get them working...Just the VC (a masterpiece!) and exterior views but none of the camera views. And they are at the aircraft.cfg.Edmundo

In the ACM, check the keyboard assignments. The Superbug uses a number of keyboard commands that will override the default FSX controls, including the "A" key for cycling viewpoints.

Has anyone got a reference point to compare FPS with? How does it compare to say the Lotus L39, PMDG 747 or any other advanced addon? That's my only concern. I bought the Flight1 Mustang, which also has a closed forum, and I get CTDs and OOM messages all the time with that plane. Once burnt...

I would compare performance to the PMDG MD11, all sliders right except autogen at very dense, 100% AI, parked at KOAK runway29 I'm seeing 30fps in the VC.System is i7 930 @ 3.66, 6gb, HD5870

Too bad the support forum is down for the moment...I've run into an odd problem with the ACM. I get the error message "Index was outside the bounds of the array" when trying to launch the ACM. I had it working fine at first but then tweaked my controller assignments, and ACM hasn't worked since unless I load up the default backup files. In other words, I can't use my controllers!I've carefully followed the installtion instructions, have FSUIPC registered installed and working, and have tried re-installing the aircraft once. Frustrating....but it does look terrific.

Did you register for support, and were unable to get it resolved?As for the VRS "out of bounds" thing, they were made aware of it, but needed to get some rest. So there is probably nobody to moniter the forum right now anyway.

I don't like this new trend to hide a product's problems and issues and even positive comments. Hence I will never purchase the product.

I wouldn't take it that far. Some have claimed this has done for fighters what PMDG has done for airliners, so I wouldn't want to miss out. But there's no way I'm getting it before the first reviews are out and people have gotten their activations in order. Hiding forums because of piracy? That's every bit as unnecessary as PMDG requiring full real life names. Why not do an ORBX twist and demand order numbers or whatever VRS use for some kind of piracy check in the forum sig for support? Demanding documentation if you yourself ask for support is only fair. Hiding entire forums however, makes everyone who hasn't bought the product yet a "suspect" or "potential pirate" instead of a "potential customer who is serious about his simming and wants to check out the bugs before spending his $50". Hows that for customer relations. It tells me a whole lot about the company.

At present, no one can access any part of the VRS forums because due to the high traffic, their service provider cut off their access without warning. Jon expects to be back up and running tonight (US time) apparently, going by his notice on the VRS website main page. With regard to restricting access of the support section of the forum to licenced customers, I'd do the same in their shoes. If you wanna buy a pirated version, don't be expecting any help from them if something goes wrong!

How can all you guys be so suspicious and dismissive because their forums are locked to anyone except a customer? It' almost universally acknowledged that they produce a fantastic product, they are class leaders in what they do, that the previous iteration for FS9 was one of the best add ons you could get, and yet some of you are going on like they are some kind of fly by night shakedown outfit.... your loss dudes....

Will the VRS F-18 for FSX change your joystick button assignments or yourkeyboard assignments? I don't understand exactly what it does.Will it affect any other add-on aircraft or FSX key commands?Can you start it with engines running or must it be a cold and dark cockpit?Thanks.JB

Oh come on now. This is absolutely no excuse (IMOof course :( ). It happens more and more with developers. It's all about keeping overheads to minimum, to maximise profits. I've no issue with that, it's what being a company is all about, but I don't think companies should keep *pretending* they didn't know it would happen, and then feign surprise. I find that quite insulting.It's still a good (neh great) addon though.

Guy's Please,VRS are having problems with their server,they are not hiding from anybody or anything,When they released The FS9 version there were Questions and problems with getting controllers setup,and they gave the community full support,as soon as they get back online I'm sure that support will continue,please be patient.

I hope so. I'm unable to use mine because of an authentication issue - noone can get on the forum, and they write on their main web page that they can't respond to email. :(I'm glad I'm not in their shoes right now, must be a bloody nightmare.

How the heck is this a good business idea? Making the their support forums closed to public and only allowing access from registered buyers? Do guys like me (who are interested but want to know what owners of it think of it) have to assume that it eats FPS, is full of system bugs and looks like a paper plane? I guess so since they're so afraid of what we might see. :( Rant off. Anybody gotten it yet and wish to share their thoughts here?
