April 26, 201016 yr I don't know if Carenado has fully crossed over to the dark side as of yet but I would sure love to get that new F33 A Bonanza in FS9. I like the old version and wished they would have updated it. Now I see their doing and alas it's for FSX only. With enough support as usual maybe we can get an FS9 version as well. Carenado seems to holding back on releasing FS9 versions of their aircraft unless there's a demand for it (which is smart). Unless I'm mistaken I'm thinking many of us FS9ers would love to have an updated F33 in our version of the sim. So I guess it's about time we email them and let them know...Here's some pics of the new model:http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/incomings.php3 FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
April 26, 201016 yr I did not buy the Saratoga (who did?) but I will buy the C-185, F33 and Caravan if released for FS9. :( My FS Videos
April 26, 201016 yr I would certainly buy a new F33 and 208, and was disappointed to learn that they were making the 185 FSX only. All three are products that should sell well in either platform. John G.

All three are products that should sell well in either platform.According to the Carenado site there will be an FS9 version of the 185. It's in the "News" blurb on the 185 for FSX. I hope nothing's changed, if there was ever an aircraft I've longed for in FS9, it's a Carenado quality 185.Carenado C185F Skywagon BUSH Released On March 30th, 2010 Carenado released one of the most popular Bush aircraft

April 27, 201016 yr Author I hope the lack of interest in this thread isn't indicative of the same lack of interest in FS9 add-ons reported by some developers. Not saying there should be a big response to this thread I just figured more people would weigh in on this as Carenado very well could teeter over to FSX only status. April 27, 201016 yr I'd love for Carenado and others to stick with FS9, but I honestly can't commit to buying this or other new releases for FS9. I would feel odd signing the petition then not buying down the line if it came out. The problem with FS9 for me is I'm already loaded with GA add-ons. No matter how good an add-on is, I may not buy unless it is a particular aircraft I'm extremely interested in at this point. I'd be more interested in the 185 over the F33A at this point. Not to say I wouldn't buy aircraft from them again for FS9, however given that I have similar aircraft with similar capabilities already I'm not necessarily jumping on every release. On the other hand in FSX where I have few add-ons I'm much more likely to buy if I used FSX, while honestly in FS9 I have more planes than I can fly right now. This is just my thinking, but I would guess I am not alone in this. I'd be all over the Caravan also as someone mentioned. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
April 27, 201016 yr Author Craig your certainly not helping any cause to keep developers interested in FS9 with a post like what your just wrote... Reminds me of the old saying, "If you don't have anything good to say.....". Anyway I respect your opinion but let me address something here: I would feel odd signing the petition then not buying down the line if it came out.My title of this thread may be a little misleading after reading what you posted here. I'm not saying sign a petition in the original since but rather email Caranado and let them know your interested in future products like the F33A or the Caravan. If you want the 185 in FS9 then an email would be in order asking of such... :( FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
April 27, 201016 yr Even though I use FSX, I sent them an email too requesting and FS9 version. One of the this I liked about Carenado (besides the great looking planes) was that they made planes for both platforms. This community is too small to isolate anyone. In not a programmer, so I dont know how much work it takes to re-do a plane for FS9. However, thay have been doing all along. would be a shame to stop now. Maybe Im wrong, but I thought they said all along to 185 and Bonnanza were going to be for both FSX and FS9?Rob
April 27, 201016 yr I want them too for FS9...and have sent e-mails as well....we will see what happens...

You specifically asked about the lack of interest in this thread, and I responded with my opinion. Sorry you don't like what you hear. The add-on vendors have their numbers, and I highly doubt anything one person says is going to have much impact on that. An e-mail campaign is a good idea (no real downside). I've purchased 2 FS9 add-ons in the past two weeks and may be buying 1-2 more in the coming weeks. I'll be happy to e-mail Carenado and let them know of my general interest in FS9 aircraft. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
April 28, 201016 yr Carenado used to have an F33A for FS9. They now seem to offer only the V tail version. They were virtually the same plane with a different tail. At least in the Carenado version it was.
April 28, 201016 yr Craig has a very good point here. We have MANY FS9 G/A aircraft and to be honest I won't be getting the F33A for FS9 either (I have the DF A36). Now something like the 185 (I have for FSX) I would also get for FS9 and of course the 208 could find it's way into both my FS9/FSX hangers. Al Stiff
