The best freeware aircrafts for FS2004?

Featured Replies

Hi,Like the FS2004 freeware sceneries website is their a FS2004 freeware aircrafts website. If there is can I have the link and if there isn't can anyone tell me where I can get the best freeware 737, 747, 757, 777, 767, A330, A340, A320 and the best A380. Please I dont want payware.Thank You

Since 'the best' is largely going to be a matter of opinion, I doubt there could be a definitive list. I suggest you check out such things as POSKY, Tin Mouse, the RFP B747, the I-Fly B747 and perhaps search the Avsim library for specific original aircraft, where the number of downloads an add-on has had is often a good guide to the regard it is held in.Al

I know you only asked for Boeing and Airbus freeware, but I've got to say it: the best freeware aircraft for FS9 is ............. the Project Tupolev Tu-154M! - for me its the best aircraft for FS9 even when considering payware!
737 Experience 737-700...;)
I remember 'The 737 Experience'! - it was pretty good.

The best freeware A320 in my opinion is made by Project Airbus.

use the search function, we recently had that discussion.

Stellan Hilmerby's DC-9 panel is very, very good also.

Take a look at Historic Jets Group, www.simviation.com/hjg/main.htm. They have excellent freeware aircraft from the 'golden age' of turbojets.Bob

I've really been enjoying the DH-89a Dragon Rapide by Dave Garwood with the autopilot update by Jim Robinson. It's fun to fly low and slow!Mark

Pro Team Tupolev TU-154M. There is no doubt.

Stellan Hilmerby's DC-9 panel is very, very good also.

Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Definitely the RFP 747-200.

Pro Team Tupolev TU-154M. There is no doubt.
No doubt at all. And a real joy, and hard work, to fly. Deserves some sort of 'all time excellence' award in my opinion.

Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

Looks like we have another very nice freeware aircraft available.Check today's library arrivals. Namely: Tu-144v2.I haven't tested it yet but I expect something really cool. There's also an update for the excellent Koltsovo scenery, so why not linking these two? :( As for the Pro TU-154, I'm with Momtchil, Galaxy and Gavin on that of course.Even though the OP was only asking about Boeing and Airbus aircraft...
