November 20, 201015 yr Perhaps the 1st part of what you said, answers the second?"I guess everyone has his favourite" :(Its not a turboprop unless it has 14 foot Hamilton Standards, the Electra L-188 (L-100 is a close second). This was my second type rating after the DC-3. ;-). It is almost as fast as a B737-200 and a lot more fun to fly. It has a one of the best cockpits of any aircraft I've flown. It was a real pleasure to fly. Bill Bridges I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
November 20, 201015 yr Hi, I cant understand the thinking logic of some of you guys, we dont have the 737ngx the Dash8 or 777 yet you are looking for something else. You should realise the PMDG Team dont run a conveyor belt of products and each aircraft has a time span of development according to its complexity. Give the Team a break and let them decide whats best for us and them. richard welshRichardWe are quite within our rights to discuss other aircraft and what we would like, afterall, without "us" PMDG simply wouldn't exist. This is the PMDG General Discussion Forum where things like this will be talked about. PMDG don't decide what's best for us, they decide what's best for them. That process has an element of involving forum members and the wider Flight Sim fraternity who will part with their hard earned cash, the reason being? To make PMDG as much money as possible, that's why they exist. Herein lies the logic behind the discussion. Rgds Dean May Happiness is a limp windsock
September 21, 201114 yr The ATR600 series is a fantastic airplane. Very nice if PMDG look forward for ATR. But EMB120 is very nice option too.
September 22, 201114 yr I would go for anything that can double as a cargo bird. Of the ones listed, a Dash-7 would be awesome. Milton Shupe's Dash-7 gave me a lot of fun flying hours in FS2K2-4. Probably going to be called a Marxist for suggesting this...An-24/32 series...probably about the same chance for a Basler DC-3 which would be totally awesome too LOL "The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." - Douglas Adams Tejon 'TJ' Stanley
September 22, 201114 yr I'd like to see a deHavilland Dash 7, since it is simialr to the Dash 8, and can be used in Aerosoft's upcoming Antarctica X. But for an all-new turbprop, I'd like to see the deHavilland Turbine Otter or a an Antonov An-2 with the turbine An-3 variant; the've made a couple An-2s havent they??!!Or maybe a Vickers Viscount. September 22, 201114 yr Hi to the PMDG team! I personally would like to see a King Air 350 developed by you guys (preferably compatible to FS9 also) if you guys need references, please contact me... I have everything, including the actual airplane itself... I fly one as a first officer, and a good 350 for the sim will be a big boost for self-proficiency sim sessions... thank you very much!
September 22, 201114 yr FSX is definitely lacking a good King Air, it would be nice to see one with a Collins flight deck. John Bauer
September 22, 201114 yr Great photo! Would love to see a King Air 350 in FSX. Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD
September 22, 201114 yr FSX is definitely lacking a good King Air, it would be nice to see one with a Collins flight deck.I actually would have preferred a King Air with a retrofitted G1000 deck, such King Airs are already flying. Actually a fully retroffited/modified King Air, this inludes G1000 and Blackhawk mods is better than original! Michael J.

September 22, 201114 yr I sure hope the PMDG guys would make a 350 for both FS9 and X in my opinion, it is the most overlooked airplane in MS' default lineup... I've flown (for real) both the EFIS-85 (aka Collins Pro Line 2) and Collins Pro Line 21 full glass, both are really nice systems, but the Pro Line 21 system gives much more situational awareness for the flight and is very easy to use... The G1000 is another great system for the King Airs, but so far, its only up to the B200 series that it was STC'ed, the 350 retrofit to the G1000 is still proceeding for its STC requirements... I've only learned about it when I attended Garmin's avionics products seminar last May... (I have references for both the original EFIS & Pro Line 21 that will prove useful should the PMDG team will tacke it) Here's our ship by the way
September 23, 201114 yr Nice looking plane. I'm surprised with the what seems like 100s of requests for a 350 in various forums, that nobody has done one yet. John Bauer
