Michael,If you check the forum, http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/04-community/community-forum-entrance.htmlThere are some good profiles that users have submitted. You can download these. There is a good one called "sethflight", just download this and you can then adjust settings like speed/smooth to suit your taste. It has taken me some time to get used to TRACKIR but a bit of patience and practice and you should find the settings that suit you.Hope this helps.

Yes when i brought my TrackIR4 pro a year ago, it gave me trouble too but, now i simply can't fly without it.

Matt over at DCS posted his TIR profile HERE and it is one of the nicer ones I've experimented with. It does come down to personal preference, however, and no matter how many profiles you download, you will probably end up having to tweak it yourself.

Hi...,well I use a setting of 1 for speed cause I like head movements to be slower and smoothing to 38 for the same reason. You also have to play with response curve to find what works best for you, it's really worth not giving up, you'll love it once you get used to it!Happy flying!!!David DD

Ezdok Camera is a godsend for TrackIr users. Version 1.7 has a cockpit limiter which allows you to set limits on your head motion for individual planes. So I can whip my head throughout my cockpit and never pass thru walls/boundaries and also I can disable Trackir for certain angle views (Like overhead/center panel). Also If the headset and reciever lose sync it wll snap back to center.

I have actually done no adjustment at all with the settings and I have no problems at all. I do use Track Clip Pro with TrackIR 5 and for me it works PERFECTLY and is a must. When I used TrackIR 3 with the cap it was all frustration and getting views locked to staring at the ceiling. I basically use TrackIR during all phases from preflight to shutdown (although if the flight is more than say 3-4 hours I might use 2D for a while).

Be careful with the track clip pro. I recently snapped mine and can't even recall how I snapped it. Its now taped up with insulation tape.

I got ez dok the other day as well and am only just getting used to it. After you get the hang of it, it is really good with track ir

I learned how to use ezdok watching the youtube tutorials as the manual is horrible, watching AoA training videos is what made me invest in ezdok. If you run trackir and it, dont forget to delete simconnect files and disable trueview.

HI Wizz84This might sound stupid but have you pressed F12 to centre the program before you start to change settings.regards Derek

Now if you want hardcore throw in Nvidias 3D vision on top of it and then you're really flying.
