February 12, 201115 yr It is absolutely unfear paying for a fix to a broken product!Wilco should make this upgrade free for Volume 1&2 owners!I am not spending any more money on this buggy Abus. And I suggest to anyone here to save their money too for when FsLab Abus will be ready!Nick
February 12, 201115 yr After much anticipation of the new Wilco Airbus, I'm very disappointed. I own the first versions of both V1 and V2 and was really hoping that the models and VC would be upgraded in the Evolution version.I actually like Thomas Ruth's freeware Airbus heavies better than Wilco's, despite that lack of detailed systems. I wish that he would do the smaller Airbuses. I will not be purchasing Wilco's "Evolution". February 12, 201115 yr To clarify: I meant that I own the first versions of Volume 1 and Volume 2. I just don't understand what are they thinking.. they should know by now that the major weakness of Wilco airbuses are the models and VC.. everybody always say they are good at systems but they have horrible looking VC and wrong models. It looks they just want to get some more money out of it.. maybe E.M. update is selling good so they want some of that action. Maybe not but it looks like it.Was there any word from Wilco (or anybody close) that they absolutely didn't touch the VC at all (all we have are a few screenshots)? They rip off customers once , twice and then ppl get tired and then go the piratebay route if they are really curious. No wonder.Vic
March 23, 201115 yr I just don't understand the level of hate that is going on here towards wilco/ft. It's like somebody's gonna label wilco/ft as a huge disaster in MSFS history. For me, wilco buses (both vol. 1 and 2) aren't as terrible as what people have said. I have actually been enjoying flying them for over a year now, keeping in mind that some systems aren't modeled perfectly. But hey, I can live with that compared to other good looking airbus models that some people compared the wilco buses to, which do not have systems modeled nearly as good as the wilco buses. And why dont we look at wilco/ft as the best airbus modeler for fs9 n fsx? Getting all their airbus models (from a318 to a340s) for under $100, I think that they hve done a pretty excellent job when some other crippled ones cost almost the same. Or u can get ur own flying license that's gonna cost a fortune n have 100% realism.
March 23, 201115 yr I don't want to speak for every developer but seriously the E.M. update for spline was a complete rip off. It should taken any normal programmer one day to implement those changes. In fact it should have been a free update since having linear lines is a bug in the first place.
March 24, 201115 yr ...or outright bugs that they will not acknowledge or fix ("we have your cash, tell us why we should?!").Feelthere has never been like that. I know Vic personally and he flat out does not approach business that way.As much as you would like single bug fixed, it just isn't possible. People are not infallible, so don't expect perfection from the items they create. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
March 24, 201115 yr Very much a long time lurker but newbie poster coming in here...I can only conclude that the Airbus in any form is a real problem to code accurately in FSX. My first one was from PSS and it remained the best one for a very long time at least until the Wilco/Feelthere version had some patches released. Now I fly it (the Wilco one) when I want to fly airbus but I realise it is not at the same standard as, say PMDG.Having said that, anyone who has set out to do an Airbus at PMDG level has failed. I watched Airliner XP go belly up and then Airsimmer's troubles. Now, I seem to remember a post at PMDG a long time ago saying that they were going to do the A320 family but they had other projects to do first. I don't know if they are still planning to do that but it would be interesting to see if they did because if they can't make a good version then no-one can!In the meantime people like me who like to fly Airbus have no really decent product; the PSS (for it's time, starting as an FS2002 product) and the Wilco versions are still the only ones who have come close, even though it is not close enough yet!As for this upgrade, I think I will wait to see what others say about it first. but I do hope it will be worthwhile. Say what you like about Wilco/Feelthere, they are the only ones who have actually managed to get an airbus into FSX!Colin MartinThanks for readin'

As I mentioned before, Wilco is the only one (the only developer), that has come as close as possible in creating the Airbus Series. Some speak about PMDG quality...Guys, guys, PMDG promised to develop an Airbus series; but for who knows what reason--or reasons--, they never did it, and never gave any explanation, why...What they have done is model every Boeing possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they develop a glider next, but an Airbus, I would say never!--- I believe the Airbuses are only for the brave...And I take my hat off and salute with great honor to Wilco/Feelthere for the hard worked they have done for us...THANK YOU, GUYS..THANK YOU VERY MUCH!--- As for the update/upgrade; I am sure it will be a bit more than just what it looks like. Don't like the Wilco Airbus because it's not like the real thing...fine! Why haven't you contacted Airbus to get the "real thing" Ahhhhh, I see...it costs a bit more than Wilco's, eh ?...Fine, let's tell Wilco-- THANK YOU !John

Looks like that, apart from the radar and hud which they added, they fixed the airbuses but they make us pay for the fixes/patches that should have been free to begin with. Plenty of threads about this. Run a search.Vic
