February 20, 201115 yr I came across this while surfing youtube. This is just WOW! But the question is...what do you guys think of it? And also, are Zinertek Water textures the best? Even when compared to this? What do you think? I want nice water textures...and need suggestions, thanks. These really look nice: Just beautiful...Thanks. All suggestions welcome.

I don't know where those textures have come from and I don't have Zinertek, but use REX which I have to say provides really good water texures, with the added bonus of fantastic weather textures.Bill

February 20, 201115 yr You need to give 'Zinertek's Water' a look. The effects in this video is old technology that we've long since improved upon. FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
February 20, 201115 yr Hello,Horrible ! :( Zinertek (I use) or H2O (from the pictures I seen) ....Regards.Gus.
February 20, 201115 yr Agree on Zinertek; best water replacement I've found yet. I combine it with REX's tropical and inland textures for a really nice presentation. Highly recommend Zinertek's airport scenery package also, as it really makes a difference to many of my freeware and default airports. John G.

February 22, 201115 yr The "most" unrealistic water I have ever seen!!!!!vololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
February 22, 201115 yr The "most" unrealistic water I have ever seen!!!!!vololiberistaThose pictures don't do it justice. You have to see the water on your own PC to judge. The wave effects alone are incredible... FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
February 22, 201115 yr All the waters I've seen, replacers and default, look way too bright. If the water looks as bright as the sky, it's wrong. Water doesn't totally reflect light like a mirror, even at a glancing angle. You will get brilliant blue-green water where it's shallow over pale sand in full sun, but that's light reflected back from the sea-bed, with the longer (redder) wavelengths filtered out by passing through the water...not that I'm saying that getting virtual water to look right is easy :(
