And what does all this have to do with XPlane 10??? Talking about "realism" , "747" , "flight Sims".. so where's your engineer? What about your "navigator"?? You won't get off the ground IRL without a co-pilot! Face it.. it takes longer to learn to simply start a 747 IRL than it does to learn to fly one in XPlane then take it around the world. Guys are having "fun" with a game that kinda simulates RL aircraft so let them play it as they see fit.

Hope they do release it by year end , as even the Bulldozer is being released and just waiting for bulldozer and XP10 , word going around that it will be an excellent sim in looks and stuff and hope they give a full fledged ATC, in the version 9 it just suked bad.

Depends what your opinion is on visuals.XP9 already beats FSX and FS9 on framerates. XP10 will have slightly more demand for computer resources than XP9 because there is now AI and ATC.But I've been told performance, based on the extra's will be slightly lower.

I would agree with this. One thing that is surprising, and this is probably just my opinion, but what is the deal with such oversized trees. Will either Xplane or Flight have a sim with proper proportions and scale. Maybe both companies need a better ruler. Sorry to rant, but it just bugs me.

There are a lot of stories going around about that screenshot. Most people have already said it is a hoax. If you're going to post screenshots, post authorized, released screenshots. The one you posted was put on the Microsoft Flight Fans Facebook page and then taken down within minutes without explanation.I haven't seen any screenshots showing the lighting in Flight. All I have seen are day screenshots.

Do I have to start a crusade against FS and Flight to stop you?You have absolutely no good documentation what-so-ever on either sim at thispoint to compare XP10 vs Flight! Things are definitely not as they always have been. The list of MAJOR v10 upgrades is long andyou obviously haven't noticed that the Laminar team now is about 4 times bigger and consists of headhunted wellknown XP designers. I have seen some of whats coming, trust me, it will blow you away. Personally I think XP's rendering engine is way ahead of FS already in v9.
