April 1, 201115 yr That's intereating about poor frame rates with the Quality Wings version, I've not heard that before. Is it a common thing?I have both - the CS and QW versions. I get considerably better frame rates (and far less 'bugs') with the QW version. Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
April 1, 201115 yr i have the QW757 on an even less modest rig ( AMD Athlon X2 5600 2.9)...and it runs like a well oiled machine.I cant knock it in any way.Tried the CS575..and i never once left the gate..Infact the only liner i fly, is the QW757. Regards Luke M
April 1, 201115 yr even part time there's no way it takes this longConsider just for a minute, that this 'extra-time' is what it takes the team to push the limits of A/C add-ons like no other developer has done before. Consider, just for a minute that they are (yet again) trying to raise the bar so high that it will take another developer 3-6 years to match this efforts. Personally, I believe that LDS is not doing this for the money, so 'timing' and/or time to market is NOT their main concern.. think about it, what would YOU do if you were extremely talented/smart and money was not a concern to you.. what kind of legacy would you like to leave for FSX? I suggest we leave them alone and enjoy what you have now, The Level-D 757 WILL come ;)
April 1, 201115 yr It's going to be interesting what features the LVD 757 will have compared to their own 767, as the LVD 767 is in some areas already more realistic than a real multi million dollar 767 sim!

Do you really believe this nonesense , or do you just expect everyone else too ?The project was significantly delayed (probably more than once), for reasons unknown to uspure and simple. That doesn't mean it won't eventually be completed and released, but its a more plausible and lesslaughable reason than than the one you've provided as to why it has taken so long.Regards.Ernie.
April 1, 201115 yr LMAO ain't that the truth. The CS 757 is junk. Way too buggy. The QW 757 gives me awful FPS, so I just stick with the Level-D 767.Everytime I see a post like this, I instantly discount it and place it in my 'he has no idea what hes talking about' file, and I am surprised anyone would give a post like that credibilityI have all 3 planes mentioned in this thread, and the only one I fly now is the QW 757, whch gives me 40-70 FPS in external views and 30-45 in cockpit, with almost all sliders 'maxxed'. So if that is low FPS, I will take it everyday.I parked my LD 767 a long time ago since I dont want to take 15 minutes to program a FMC, along with other problems. And as far as the CS 757, prior to the QW being released it was my favorite airliner, it is FAR from junk.To each his own, but I sure am not waiting for a LD 757, I am having too much fun flying current planes, and since the 757 and 767 cockpits are almost identical, I see no need for another one. I'm saving my money for the QW 787 and ES CJ1+ V 2.0. Jay
April 1, 201115 yr Everytime I see a post like this, I instantly discount it and place it in my 'he has no idea what hes talking about' file......I parked my LD 767 a long time ago since I dont want to take 15 minutes to program a FMC, along with other problems. It doesn't take 15 minutes to program the FMC. At the most it takes 5 minutes, which leaves 5 more minutes to prep the cockpit until the IRS alignment which occurs at +10 minutes. So your initial statement is not correct. And what other problems? Care to elaborate? AJ Pongress

Some whiz through it, while others slowly hunt and peck though it. With the latter method it can easily take 15 minutes or more.Regards.Ernie.

Care to elaborate?15 minutes total, 10 minutes too long for me. It's been so long since I have flown the LD I can't remember now what the other problems were. I have settled into a nice routine with the QW now, its fits my 'style' perfectly so I dont fly others I have anymore.I do know of one problem another LD user is having, everytime he launches it, his sim crashes, and thats with the FSX update, no idea why. April 1, 201115 yr http://www.leveldsim...57-release-datethe release date for he level d 757Question everything on April 1st, I will believe it when I am actually able to fly it.EDIT: April 31st? Shane Gavin
April 1, 201115 yr http://www.leveldsim...57-release-datethe release date for he level d 757And the PMDG NGX is ready too, look into their forums. I'm with audiohavoc there, seems to be the best method so far. You can always get surprised in the most positive way while not actually waiting for things to happen, or even demanding them to do so.

April 1, 201115 yr The CS 757 is junk. Way too buggy.Interesting because that has not been my experience with it. In fact I probably have more hours on the CS 757/767 than any other birds in my hangar besides the Coolsky MD-82. Solid products.
