I think that if this was true, pmdg would have deleted the update from yesterday.
They did unpin the update from yesterday though.....

And also "Six weeks ago, Boeing purchased a controlling share in PMDG." big mistake if this did happen.Robert i may have to come around and slap you up side the head Just%20Kidding.gif talk about heart attackGreat April F#@* :( ha ha

Ooooooh they did tooo....well then that kinda changes things then. I think that if its true, boeing will demand that some simulations be withheld from the public so that the commercial customers have the full "true" simulation for their training needs. which would suck carrots!

I believe nothing on April 1st.

Hmmmm. I don't know what to think of this. If it's true then Congrats to all at PMDG. I just hope that as others have said, this dosebt affect the depth of the products. Though you were allowed to put the Manuals on sale, and that would be a positive sign. Also will you have to get more staff now you will have more responsibilities? Or will it just take longer for FS products to release?

Deleted I'll post it again later

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

Don't give Boeing any ideas!I'd like to know were I can buy PMDG shares, because they would quadruple in value over an announcement like this. This is obviously an April Fools' Day joke, but a good one indeed :Applause:You almost had me there... Good job!

Well that's GREEAAATTTTT news! This should definitely drive the Boeing stock price higher. Although I'm expecting a reaction from Airbus in the next few hours.LOL.gif Does this also mean PMDG will be re-locating to Everett?? :( I for one, will keep an eye on the NGX intro page today....... :(

Was the NGX delay a joke as well? I hope not.

I can't imagine why Boeing would take an interest in flight sim software for the "home gamer". I'm also fearful if they have controlling interest in PMDG that they would then start withholding features to protect their intellectual property, or as others mention, they could use their controlling stake in PMDG to use their technology just for their big bucks commercial clients and cancel all further MS flight sim development. As excited as I am to hear of this unprecedented real world manufacturer involvement in MS flight sim, I am also well aware of how business works, and in such a small low margin market as the flight sim community what is their motivation? Imagine Boeing's legal eagles nitpicking every nuance and detail while PMDG develops the 737 and 777, this is just going to add to the development time.I am hoping this is just an April Fools joke. Why would they care about us "gamers"?, they must see the value of talent offered by PMDG and want to use it for their own internal engineering efforts or simulation products.EDIT: LOL!!!! I just saw the website! You guys are classic! You have all of us wrapped around your fingers hanging on your every word. Kudos!:(
