Not as priceless as the rotten acting and generally atrocious production values of this, and this is by Boeing!:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRDFQQKwaScAl

Was reading somewhere there is an add on sound pack for this plane? Where would I get it? Is it on their support forums?
I have been using the TSS 737NG soundpack for my default 737 for some time now and decided to alias the sounds to the iFly737 and the sounds are great (and not so loud outside the aircraft). I purchased them over at the The FlightSim Pilot Shop.Best regards,Jim

You can get those TSS 737 NG sounds from a few places, but shop around, Simmarket charges more for them than most places. They're okay, but they aren't a vast improvement on what you get by default. The other sound pack is a little add-on utility that is freeware, you can get it here:http://ifly.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=3053&title=ifly-gauge-plugin-download-update-1Al

Just DL the free sounds. I am confused in the read me I unzipped to root FSX but what does "put folow lines in end off section [VCockpit02] your panel.cfg" mean?

A Walker

It means you have to look in the main aircraft's panel folder for the panel config file, open it up in Notepad (or any other text editor), scroll down to the VC section and then add the lines by either copying and pasting them, or typing them in.Al

So I need to put that in the A/C Panel CFG file? [VCockpit02] Sorry I am new at this... Where would I find the Panel cfg file at?

There's a file (=panel.cfg) defining your cockpit for each variant (600/700 and so on) and for each panel layout (normal screen or a wide one). So for the -600 in widescreen, you would look at SimObjects\Airplanes\iFly 737-600\panel.wide, there's the panel.cfg. Make a backup and then start using Notepad on it.That file is devided into different sections, you just have to add the sound gauge to the [VCockpit02] one as the last entry there.[VCockpit02]...gauge15=IFLY_NG_GAUGE_PLUGIN!Sound, 0, 0therefore would be the right entry on that plane. Mind the number of the gauge (gauge15). If the last gauge on e. g. the BBJ variants is 17, you therefore have to use gauge18.Save the panel.cfg and load the plane. If you've copied the new sounds to the mentioned sound folder from the readme file, you will hear them instantly.Have fun with the wipers. :(

Wow Im gonna be lucky if I dont screw it up! Thanks for the help! Should I be using widescreen at 1920x1080? or is that just for the 2D cockpit? Does it matter on the VC?

The widescreen stuff only covers the 2D panels and popups and their aspect ratio. The VC won't get affected there, only the popups do.As you saw, the -600 for example is shown twice in the aircraft selection. One uses the normal panel.cfg, the other one uses the widescreen variant. If you click on the widescreen variant in the aircraft selection screen, you should edit the corresponding panel.cfg, that's all to consider there, don't worry. If you mix something up, just revert back with the backup panel.cfg.

IIRC (and somebody correct me if I am wrong here), on the FS9 version, the user is able to change the engine types, add eyebrow windows, etc..but on the FSX version I do not see these options. Am I missing them or were they removed? I really liked the options you could change in the FS9 version.
