July 21, 201114 yr Hey all, While Nick is fast asleep in Foggy London Town, I thought I'd jump in and post some thoughts of my own. Although I already think highly of Nick and his place on the Angle of Attack Crew, I must say that he has surprised me once again. After what he's done with the MD11 Training, and already with what I see internally with the 737 Training, I'm impressed with his level of knowledge and big picture thinking with this aircraft. None of this would be possible without the amazing work PMDG has done on this aircraft. It goes to show that there is simply nothing like the latest and greatest from PMDG, and I dare say (not a very scary dare) that they have done it once again with this beast of a virtual machine. What you see is what you get, folks. This is the real deal... and you haven't even seen the engines turn yet!Lastly, I want to note that this was originally posted on our website and that's where we usually keep track of comments, questions, etc, etc. If you guys are interested in interacting with us (as we don't frequent forums as much as our own site) then head over to that page BY CLICKING HERE. Other than that, enjoy, and look out for more from us in the coming days, weeks, and months. Throttle On!Chris Palmer and CrewI have to say that I have never seen an aircraft simulation that comes close to this level of quality, but I am looking forward to the Angle of Attack Instructional Online Course that will be released along with it almost as much as the aircraft itself. I believe AoA will be bringing a level of instruction that is on par with this radically realistic 737NGX.Congratulations to both PMDG and AoA for their partnership in bringing the real NGX to fly on our home computers, along with all the knowledge needed to operate it, and the opportunity to learn it in such an entertaining and enjoyable way. It's a good time to love flight simulation.Bob Robert Yunque
July 21, 201114 yr I only found the wheels abit too gray, they may be more black/dark.But beside of that, everything looks damn amazing. The (glass)refelction, even if you zoom-in it keeps detailed all wauw... great job. Can't wait for the in-depth cockpit video. Our future office. Steven Albi
July 21, 201114 yr Commercial Member I only found the wheels abit too gray, they may be more black/dark.Every bit of our textures are taken from extremely high res photos of the real thing - that's how they looked on the real aircraft we surveyed. July 21, 201114 yr Nice video!!! I usually stay in the vc, but will be stepping outside more now:) I imagine the VC video is going to get me excited. :) Nice job to the pmdg team and to AOA.Simon Simon
July 21, 201114 yr I was expecting the NGX exterior to look great..However judging from that video, it has far exceeded my expectations.Fantastic! Phil Mosley - Rotation Films http://youtube.com/rotationfsx @RotationFilms
July 21, 201114 yr Wow... this vid will keep me busy for at least a week :( Just way to much to look at for a single (or multiple B) ) view(s).The level of detail is incredible. I have worked a lot with NG's in real life and there were some parts were I knew for sure PMDG would / could not incorporate them in the NGX, but by this video I've been proven wrong. Guys, my love for the NGX will be for ever :( :( B) Regards, Frank van der Werff
July 21, 201114 yr I'll definilty start doing a walkaround before each flight. Is he using EZDOK world câmera mode to do that? July 21, 201114 yr Outstanding video! Does anyone know what camera settings are being used? I assume the camera itselfis EZDOK but, so far, I've been unable to get my copy to do that! Thanks.Phil Stephens Phil Stephens i7 9700 3.00GHz | 16GB DDR4 | NVIDEA GTX1600 Ti 6GB | Win 10 x64
July 21, 201114 yr Looks like a combination of EZDOK, OrbX' Bob and TrackIR.A very well done video and very nice to see how detailled the aircraft model really is. The virtual cabin looks better than some of the cockpits out there. "A life is like a garden. July 21, 201114 yr Does Orbx's Bob allow you to move around a parked Plane? I thought Bob was a plane itself.I would love to do this with my NGX!
July 21, 201114 yr Wauw! I am blown away here!everyone I showed this video were too!Cockpit video... I think I am going to be dizzy Yours trulyBoaz FraizerCopenhagen, Denmark
July 21, 201114 yr Does Orbx's Bob allow you to move around a parked Plane? I thought Bob was a plane itself.I would love to do this with my NGX!unfortunatly it does not. Currently EZDok is the best option and a new version is coming sooner or later that will make it easier to set up. Its difficult to get used to at first and you need to make some changes to the simconnect files of Track IR if you use it. However once you have it set up its just magic!. July 21, 201114 yr I was just about to ask the same about how to view the aircraft like that... Looking at the product website it looks SO advancedIs it not possible to set it up in default and the go? I love the g force effects in the various flytampa commercials!!
