Great video. Thanks for pointing it out. The detail on the engines is bang on. Love the air stairs. And really appreciate how so much can be controlled through the FMC instead of fumbling with key assignments, which of course I can never remember. So in my world the passengers or their luggage never get off my jumbo since I can never the assignments to open the doors and cargo bays. Yeah, I know I should write it down. Anyhow, can't wait to get the 737NGX dressed up in some of the liveries we've already seen.

Cheers,

Bruce Campion-Smith

I paused the video when Nick opened the views menu to start praparing my key assignments for the 2D panels. Not that intend to use them with the NGX. The FMC also has an incredible amount of menus. Can't wait to enter them and check all the options.

Just want to mention here too guys - Nick was recording 1080p video at a detailed scenery while doing this. Please don't think any stuttering or stuff like that is the fault of the aircraft - recording video at that resolution places a huge toll on the CPU, RAM and storage systems of the PC. Without video recording it's even smoother than what you see in these videos. We have gone to extreme lengths to make the framerate smooth while maintaining this crazy level of detail - it's like nothing else out there as far as not sacrificing quality for speed or vice versa.I'm watching the cockpit tour video right now (hasn't been put up publically yet by AoA) and I think you're all going to be blown away, I am myself and I've been looking at this thing for literally years now. We really created something beautiful here and seeing it in someone else's video is like taking a step back for me and seeing the big picture so to say.

Hey all, While Nick is fast asleep in Foggy London Town, I thought I'd jump in and post some thoughts of my own. Although I already think highly of Nick and his place on the Angle of Attack Crew, I must say that he has surprised me once again. After what he's done with the MD11 Training, and already with what I see internally with the 737 Training, I'm impressed with his level of knowledge and big picture thinking with this aircraft. None of this would be possible without the amazing work PMDG has done on this aircraft. It goes to show that there is simply nothing like the latest and greatest from PMDG, and I dare say (not a very scary dare) that they have done it once again with this beast of a virtual machine. What you see is what you get, folks. This is the real deal... and you haven't even seen the engines turn yet!Lastly, I want to note that this was originally posted on our website and that's where we usually keep track of comments, questions, etc, etc. If you guys are interested in interacting with us (as we don't frequent forums as much as our own site) then head over to that page BY CLICKING HERE. Other than that, enjoy, and look out for more from us in the coming days, weeks, and months. Throttle On!Chris Palmer and Crew

I can't be in all places at once. If you see someone is having an issue with an Angle of Attack product, or something that should be brought to my attention, please message me. I want everyone to have a stellar experience with AOA. Thanks so much!

One other thing guys - the PMDG SETUP pages that you'll see in the cockpit video have changed - Nick filmed this with the first beta version and the airframe specific options stuff was still being finished right at the end of closed beta/alpha there. That'll be detailed in the intro manual - the options are the same but the way you access and save them for each individual airframe has changed a bit.
