How are Yellowstone, Aberdeen rendered?Someone maybe?Thx!Well I live in Switzerland, I am married to a women from Montana :-)The funny part is, that in the last days we spent in Montana, CRM was released. So it was a no brainer for me, I love it! It covers allmost all the places I have seen in the last 3 weeks in real live. Now I am home and every evening I still can enjoy the feeling of Big Sky Montana, thanks to ORBX.McDan out

How are Yellowstone, Aberdeen rendered?Someone maybe?Thx!David, I was eagerly waiting for this one to tied it up with NRM. It's stunning to stay the least. I have just started to explore the area, but there is a genuine feeling of 'being there' that I think is even better than the PNW package. And the great thing (if you care about that), is that is it extremely FPS friendly, if only because of the nature of the terrain. I poster just recently a thread in the screenshot gallery from a flight this morning in the area just east of McCall, Idaho. And I will simply say that it was a great 90 minutes of flight simming. July 21, 201114 yr My understanding is that it's not available here (from either FSPilot Shop or PC Aviator) until July 28th. July 21, 201114 yr Not sure if I am allowed to post the direct link to Flightsim Store, but I bought it (download version) a few days ago. And I was not on the pre-purchase list. Bryan K.Ottawa, CanadaCurrent virtual hangar: Flight1 BN2 Islander, A2A C182, A2A C172, Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended

How are Yellowstone, Aberdeen rendered?Someone maybe?Thx!I prepaid and got it last Friday. I recently flew from Lake Jackson Wyoming to Seattle at FL280 and the scenery was stunning especially in heavy weather. Also, flying out of the airport at Lake Jackson was nothing for the faint of heart. The FS Build prepared flight plan for my IFly 737 put me almost immediately over a high range of mountains. I actually did not think I was going to clear them :( but I'm still here - :( . I have the Central and Northern Rocky's as well as PNW and that covers one heck of a lot of beautiful scenery. Still haven't made it to Yellowstone but was close at Lake Jackson.Best regards,Jim
July 21, 201114 yr I pre-paid back in the first week of June and received the download link last Friday. If you own any of their previous scenery products, you know what to expect and CRM won't disappoint. The latest one is at least at the same level of quality as their other scenery products, maybe even a little better. There's lots of variety in the scenery textures. The mountains look absolutely stunning. They have an official forum where I know many users have posted mini-reviews and first impressions. -
July 21, 201114 yr CRM is phenomenal. I think it even tops PNW in many aspects. The textures seem extremely sharp, even more so than other ORBX. Quad Core Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4 GHz, 1 GB nVidia GTX 275, 8GB DDR3 PC3-10600 MB/sec RAM, 300GB 10,000 RPM HD
July 21, 201114 yr I'll probably get it when it's on sale...I like their region packs but unfortunately it's not where I fly during vatsim times... and that's the majority of my flying. Once they work their way down into Norcal and Socal I'll be getting those for sure. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

July 22, 201114 yr Nice pics- what is the area covered by this package? I am in Colorado (near Denver), and wondering if it comes this far south into the Colorado Rockies? Thanks, Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
July 22, 201114 yr "IMHO this is OrbX's best work yet"Better than the Australia scenery? I doubt it. MSFS
July 22, 201114 yr "IMHO this is OrbX's best work yet"Better than the Australia scenery? I doubt it. Even ORBX will likely admit that all the NA FTX packages are better than the Australia products. The various ground textures are way better and more efficient. But one most compare apples with apples. We are talking here of the FTX products (landclass, textures, etc) and not the various ORBX add-on airports. And yes, the titles from Australia are breathtaking. But FTX for FTX, the 4 North America packages are better than Australia, at least IMHO. July 22, 201114 yr Nice pics- what is the area covered by this package?Check out the KMZ files at their product pages, Bruce. Click the (likely to miss) blue button on the right side. http://fullterrain.c...duct_nacrm.htmlI must admit that I always wondered 'why would I fly there?' when some new Orbx release was announced. I later bought it and then eventually explored why they've picked it.So my shopping there happens some sort of the other way around, because I'm not looking for this or that spot to be released in the sim, I just follow the dev's path and get to know some areas I didn't even notice as 'nice to fly' before.Regarding CRM, it perfectly fits into their former NA stuff and all the work (on e. g. the seasons) and the 'explore me' character then makes it a good buy for me. I also got it on pre-pay, so the value was even higher. So far, I didn't see it as a downside that hardly any detailed airport is available for this or that area since all their reworked default ones offer nice approaches (through the enhanced scenery) and at least a non-default layout with extra bits like some 3D grass or some extra buildings. That's all I need for some bush flying and it also fits when coming in with smaller airliners. Now, with all those titles released, you also get a very nice and seasonal changing environment when flying CRM through PNW, PFJ and later the great Tongass Flords (which comes from FSAddon). The area is large enough to give the airliners a chance and the bush pilots then get action for months.Using rw weather or the enhanced presets coming with the product is vital though, otherwise it looks too clean. Stating this, because I ran into that user error on some flights of mine.
