August 1, 201114 yr Hey Nick,First off, your videos are excellent, especially as you say they are unscripted and off the cuff. Thanks for taking all the time and effort to show all of us what we can expect. We have only been hearing about the numerous path breaking and out of the box programming done for the NGX. I guess, seeing is beleiving (not that I doubted anything in the first place ).In the last video, you showed all of us the fantastically modeled Yaw Damper. My question to you is, now can we uncheck Auto Co-ordination in the realism settings and still get co-ordinated turns on the NGX ? If so, this would be music to my ears especially in single engine ops and in de-crabbing. This was always one of the things I hated in FSX and earlier versions when flying airliners. Thanks once again for all your videos. Can we anticipate any more before release? I know it is just a few days away, so it may not make any sense to ask for more. We can see for our selves Cheers,Dinshaw Parakh
August 1, 201114 yr Does someone know's what the pc-system is that Nick uses in all his movies ? The graphics and all looks to real http://www.youtube.com/FSXNOOB.
August 1, 201114 yr Nice work, Nick! Just watch the flap retraction schedule... DZ David Zhong New video every Thursday: Aircraft Lighting - Boeing 777
August 1, 201114 yr Hi Nick, Thanks for another good video, I tried turning off the YD in the iFly and it didn't change anything, guess thats another thing they didn't model! Cheers, BTW, For fun I tried flying the Wilco A320 under the bridge at Gatwick! Managed it on the second attempt with about 20 feet to spare! Don't think the A320 approved as it kept calling me a retard! Sadly, Fraps wasn't playing so couldn't shoot a video of it. Must have been 'interesting' doing that in a Level D Sim! August 1, 201114 yr I guess after seeing how you make Videos Nick, I will consider buying the 737 Training when ready and become a first time AOA Customer :( I really like these Videos from you best regards, Alexander Barger
August 1, 201114 yr I still think that the trim wheel is moving not as smooth as it could be, considering the rest of the simulation. Is this fixed in the final release or not? Not a dealbreaker at all, but when the rest is so good, little things like that stand out so much more. Oliver Donner

August 1, 201114 yr I guess after seeing how you make Videos Nick, I will consider buying the 737 Training when ready and become a first time AOA Customer I really like these Videos from you You wont regret it, I have the MD-11 training and its excellent. The videos are a lot more polished and professional than these off the cuff ones that Nick has been giving usI still think that the trim wheel is moving not as smooth as it could be, considering the rest of the simulation. Is this fixed in the final release or not? Not a dealbreaker at all, but when the rest is so good, little things like that stand out so much more.Don't forget, that is still the Beta version that Nick is using, I'm sure that the trim wheel will operate perfectly in the release version. August 1, 201114 yr Great videos all of them and real teasers :wink:One problem though, for some reason I'm not able to watch them using my iPhone 4 any longer, had no problem only 1 day ago. On my PC running Win7 and IE I don't have any problems but one thing changed there as well...can't make the movie fullscreen anymore.Did something about the video format/technique behind the videos change?
August 1, 201114 yr @ Nick.....Great video! But, I was wondering what the tower and all the diverted traffic were thinking when you sat on the runway for over 30 minutes setting up for takeoff? Just teasing with you! Thanks for a very informative video, and looking forward to the AOA training also. Best Regards, Rick Branch
August 1, 201114 yr Nick, I must say you have produced some wonderful videos showcasing this new bird. The walk around and this one has convinced me to put aside the payment (not that I would not have, being I have the PMDG 757/767 for Fly! / Fly!II and know their quality firsthand). Only drawback in the past was a) MicrosoftF$ FS9 and a computer unable to handle the rigors of PMDG bird simulations. Now I have a much newer one that should be able to handle this. Thanks for all the work you do on your videos! Ken ___________________________ Kenneth E Wood Jr 🌪️🌩️ ex AG1, USN (14yr Vet) Weather Foecaster

August 1, 201114 yr Thank you so much for the videos Nick. I know that each one takes some time away from finishing the real AoA product, but it gives us so much insight into the NGX and everyone, including myself, have been enjoying them so very much. Your casual presentation is so refreshing also. I feel that you are in the room with me right here in Alabama, showing it just to me.....I don't want to give you any bad dreams, it's just my impression. Please give us some more. Maybe a good landing would be nice. It would be approprate, since the NGX is about to land. Bob Robert Yunque
August 1, 201114 yr Thats what holding patterns are made for lol! Ahhhh yes, +1 how quickly I forget at my age! Best Regards, Rick Branch
August 1, 201114 yr Commercial Member I was wondering.. whether turning off the yaw dumper shouldn't also lead to dutch roll showing up eventually, if the air is more turbulent? Can you experience this sort of effect in the NGX? cheers,Jakub The Dutch Roll is a very scary thing, and very hard to recover from at high altitude. That's why you aren't allowed to fly above a specific level when Yaw Damper is not available for some reason. Nick, thanks for the video.
