August 15, 201114 yr I have another question ... If i purchase the NGX today or tomorrow, will the latest hot-fix be included in the installer? PD: Yeah!!! Today i finish my holydays and come back home!!! NGX NGX NGX NGX NGX NGX .... I have re downloaded the pmdg 737 ngx from the site today the new version and hotfix is already in there m8
August 15, 201114 yr After the 2916 HotFix the aircraft.cfg file for the 800WL does have the incorrect Dome Light info. For the people that installed the hotfix AND you dome light is still working... Can you verify that you aircraft.cfg file is version 2916? <---------------> Mike Murawski
August 15, 201114 yr I have re downloaded the pmdg 737 ngx from the site today the new version and hotfix is already in there m8Is this the download you had problems activating and had to use the 'quick click' technique you describe in another thread to solve? If so thanks for the heads up, I'll not be buying until I see some progress on the activation problem. Andy Lawton
August 15, 201114 yr I think, that fps are worse than before both hot fixes. But with this second, at least for me, fps are definitely worse. Regards. Miquel Egea.
August 15, 201114 yr worth installing as it fixes, as did the previous one, certain other bugs that exist other than just panel freezes - like switch for ND map/rangemode error etc...I had occasional freeze before last hotfix, only happened after multiple flights, since that hotfix I had none, but welcomed the other fixes that it did such as the radio minimums issues, the control of the ND etc...so I recommend as does robert you apply it. Regards James Carr
August 15, 201114 yr After todays hotfix my CFG files are 800/900 non winglet are build 2916, and the 800/900 winglet are build 2888, I did not install the first hotfix. The 900 winglet model was the only one for me with the dome light problem wich I fixed myself. Jacob Fuqua Jacob Fuqua
August 15, 201114 yr Jacob... I think something may have happened in your hotfix install. All my cfg files after install were 2916. When I had some stay at 2888, I did the following to get them all to 2916: Uninstall all liveriesDelete all 4 aircraft.cfg filesReinstall hotfixReinstall all my liveriesApply the "Dome Light Fix" to my 800WL aircraft.cfg file (This was aside from backing up / restoring the Aircraft folder from the 737NGX folder) <---------------> Mike Murawski
August 17, 201114 yr Yeah I did the same but I also backed up the ini and even texture files and uninstalled it manually then reinstalled it manually so the livery manager didn't do it. I went to all these lengths because I wanted to make sure. Let me know if just backing up the CFG works also :) Sure, finally got a chance to take a look. I repeated the livery uninstall to apply hotfix 3 and replaced the airframe/hull-specific cfg-file once again. So far it seems to have worked, at least the timers on the maintenance pages still show the same hours to go as before. Christoph Kühne
