September 5, 201114 yr HOLY SH..... Oh my god... My PC already gets eaten up by the NGX paintkit (around 3 GB of 4GB are always in use while painting it), it'll probably drive my PC to inner-suicide actions when i hover over the McPhat paintkit :S Three greens! Aykut Onur Öztürk
September 5, 201114 yr In all honesty it's getting ridiculous now, PMDG has released a super high definition paintkit for the NGX so now basically, they don't have the "We make HD paints" point anymore. Everyone paints the NGX in HD textures.. It's like as if I would be selling a photo realistic texture during the first days of the Queen.

Reason I say that is cause you can only have the Stock PMDG Paint Kit. Nobody is getting their hands on the Mcphat Paint Kit. They make their own liveries and sell them in Sets. American Airlines is the only free one they give out cause AA won't allow anyone to make a profit off their livery. Paul Deemer

September 6, 201114 yr I actually don't notice any difference in performance with their HD AA livery for the MD-11 over the stock PMDG one but it's definitely better looking. They are fantastic artists. Also, just because a paint is in HD doesn't mean it's all equal. Especially when getting to high resolution the quality of artist is very important -- just as their side by side shows: there's nothing wrong with the stock PMDG paint but the MP one just shows that extra special something.
