Hello,On SimFlight.frApparently PMDG up the pace, and wishes to develop faster project 777. This seems to indicate a slowdown of updates and support for the 737 NGX, and the movement of some 737 developers to the project 777.???

ZK-ZUH, Hi Yes ive got 275.33Saul thanks for your tip. ill have a look at it
The 266.58 is the latest driver i know properly working with all PMDG aircrafts.Newer drivers (64bit) than the 275.33 are maybe working with the NGX as they should, but can distort the AP panel in the MD-11.

Captains-From experience I can tell you that the problem is likely in the exceptionally poor design methodology used by FSX to manage functionality such as brakes... It never ceases to amaze me that a product designed/built in 2006 is still using some hackneyed methods that were first used in FS4.0 or earlier... but I don't want to go off on a rant who's roots predates the birthdates of many folks here. Why not? - dissing Microsoft is one of the pleasures of life, especially for those of us who spent years being stuck with its latest stupid idea operating system .im%20Not%20Worthy.gif

are the NGX flaps etc totally independant from FSX ?? like the pmdg 747 on fs9? as that would mean having problems with throttle quad to work otherwise

I just downloaded them tonight, seem to work alright with a quick spin, but haven't taken it out on a full flight yet, probably be a few days before I get a chance.

Have posted this in the PMDG gen forum as well:"Have found a problem, with the latest NV drivers. but need someone to test. Nvidia Insp won't save the profile to FSX.exe with the 285.62 drivers. Normally, you would get a warning box to say that FSX.exe has already been assigned, but that does not happen. it goes around in a loop. So some of you may think it has been correctly applied, and it may not. Clean install using Driver Sweeper. Don't trust the NV custom install. Also flashing trees at KORD FSDT, no matter what settings have been set. I suspect maybe NV Insp may not work with these drivers. You do get the impression they work ok, but really, I am not so sure." Also a atc.dll CTD was in the mix as well. That is such a new CTD to me I had to google it.

Mine works perfectly.I import my FSX settings file and it says, everything´s OK.In fact, i don´t remember any driver with major issues in FS9 or FSX. Except those issue (already solved) with the preview , in the init menu, that didin´t show the ac, with AA enabled. I think it was in FS9, only.In FSX, with the last two years driver´s releases, i haven´t had any problem, with all aircrafts and add-ons , PMDG included. The latest version 285.62 WHQL , works Ok, too: I have seen that the power state has improved, and therefore the cooling and noise, too.Best.Miquel Egea.

Thanks, Miquel, it is possiable it could be a corrupted install, even though I am very fussy when I do a clean install. The only way to be sure is to direct your profile to fsx.exe and see if the dialouge box comes up to tell you that it ia already assigned. That is after closing nv insp, and re opening again. if it does, then all is good. And if you have FSDT KORD, park your NGX at gate C20, go to spot view, and pan around for flashing trees that are within the airport paremeter.

Sorry Julian, i have not installed any scenery from third party developer. For the NV inspector, i have a FSX.NIP file, wich i have saved, and is imported from NV inspector evrytime, i install a new driver revision.I have checked the profile , now , and everything is OK.Best.Miquel Egea.

Ok, Miquel, will try it again tomorrow, Something quirky must have happened when I installed it. BTW, I have the same MB and almost the same specs.

Then , you should be happy, i am very happy with its performance. I had a ASUS Sabertooth P67, some months ago, and it was a nightmare with the sleep and hibernation...i have been a loyal customer from ASUS since 1998, and once i had an Intel mobo (D875PBZ) with 875P chipset which was a fantastic and reliable piece of hardware. Now i have gone with Gigabyte for the first time and feel really happy and satisfied with this motherboard.Best.Miquel Egea.
