The lack of the promissed SP1 "Bug fixed" list is disappointing. One would "expect" that such a list already existed -- It is difficult to imagine how a team could be working on correcting "bugs", without there being a constantly updated list to work from. So it would appear to be a trivial task, to post that list as promissed, and to occasionally update it, as progress is made.Draw you own conclusion.. I'm not going to spell it out and get flamed. Then again, who cares what is needed to be fixed, as long as it does get fixed correctly, and at sometime, there is a SP1 that corrects all the issues, without the need for further HotFixes, or a SP2.More haste, less speed ... at least PMDG are fixing the issues, unlike so many other developers, that throw out junk, and then, rather than fixing issues, work on throwing out more NEW junk to maximize income.

As Obi wan kenobe said... Use the HUD Rick, use the HUD.Power back at 30 feet, flare until flightpath vector is just below the horizon line.Flare should only be a few degrees. Are you trying to flare with the autothrust on?
No, i cut Autothrottle at around 50 to 75ft, then drop to idle at 30ft. Must admit though, i am not using the Hud, rather trying to hit around 3deg. nose up at touchdown.

Can you post where pmdg promised the list of fixes cant recall that actually
i see Leffe already helped me out there, so thank Leffe.but u can find the original post herehttp://forum.avsim.n...lease-schedule/reffer to the last part of Robert's post.
Oh big deal. Get over yourself and stop being selfish.SP1 is coming soon. What do you want? The SP to be quicker or the staff to waste their time posting what will be fixed.
what i want is not a damn list, what i want is for PMDG to stand by thier word, and stop with the childish excuses.and i would also like a product that works properly without crashing or freezing every other flight. for over 2 months now.a product that made me reinstall windows twice and fsx a lot more than that, and still doesnt work properly.

Rick, rather than trying to hit a pitch attitude, which will vary with conditions... aim for vertical speed. lift the nose to attain a comfortable vertical speed. Glance at the VSI on the PFD.Hope that suggestions helps. smile.png
If PMDG actually don't know themselves then things really are a mess. I work flight simulation and I know all about the problems of fixing software bugs. I also have a lot of experience in project management and working without a projected end date is a recipe for disaster. It simply encourages the project to drift later and later. Calling that concept common sense is ridiculous. If you simply say it'll be finished when it's finished, it will never be finished. This is of course entirely different from PMDG not publishing the end date, which in the circumstances is probably the best idea as if they miss the date people won't get upset.Kevin Hall
Absolutely agree with you

Am I glad I don't work in a market where software gets exposed to end users.... It's not usual to release a bugs fixed list until you have fixed the bugs AND they have been tested and resolved. So no bugs fixed list does not surprise me. It's also not usual to give customers sight of the internal workings of the development team and their progress on fixing and QA for specific issues. An SP release schedule based on realistic assumptions and contingency, is however usual, that, I'm not seeing and am saddened sad.png

Then , you should be happy, i am very happy with its performance. I had a ASUS Sabertooth P67, some months ago, and it was a nightmare with the sleep and hibernation...i have been a loyal customer from ASUS since 1998, and once i had an Intel mobo (D875PBZ) with 875P chipset which was a fantastic and reliable piece of hardware. Now i have gone with Gigabyte for the first time and feel really happy and satisfied with this motherboard.
Interesting -- I'm on an Asus Sabertooth X58, and very happy with it. No sleep / hibernation issues at all...

You are lucky Michael. It was a nightmare , in my case. Well, you can go to the ASUS forums and see that the issue exists in lot of cases, and a BIOS update couldn´t solve the problem.Mine was bought at the beginning of the year more or less; maybe ASUS could solve the issue later...don´t know...Edit: Oh sorry; I see you have a Sabertooth X58; mine was P67. Same type of MB, but absolutely different hardware.Well, if you are interested:http://vip.asus.com/...SLanguage=en-usRegards.Miquel Egea

Thanks Martin. All suggestions help and are welcome.Regards,

I do not see what the big deal is about the SP1 Fix list? When they release SP1 they will include a list of fixes. They are already in the beta testing and fine tuning phase, so anything that isn't already in there now is probably not planned until the next SP. As for the reason we are not getting release date estimates anymore its becasue a select few whined and fussed too much and spoiled it for the rest of us. You know who you are!

Some questions, Paul, are you a developer from PMDG?Have you asked to Captain Randazzo, why he said to publish the list? Now , you seem a bit angry with the no release dates, take these advices: relax, chill ou, get a life, go for a walk, enjoy life, family, weather...you know, your favorite advices.Ah, and i have never asked for a release date, never, and i am customer from PMDG since 2003 .Best.Miquel Egea.

Nonsense, utter nonsense.Of course they don't know themselves, they aren't capable of precognition. they can only "estimate", and estimates are frequently wrong... then you would slate them for their tardiness. If they fix a bug tomorrow, they have no idea if it will open a can of worms and be a catalyst for new problems. If they tell you it will "definitely" be next Friday, and in the mean time the bugs they are incorporating fixes for break other aspects of the sim, they won't make the deadline they promised will they?
On what basis do you think my comment is nonsense? I'm in the same business PMDG are, so give me some credit. Of course they can't know with absolute certainty, but they will have a very good estimate to which they can add a contingency and come up with a solid deadline to aim for. They don't have to announce that deadline to us, my point was they must have a target.
In addition, these guys do this stuff part time. They have day jobs to do and family matters to attend to. Do you not see how someone getting run over by a bus, and illness in ones family can affect deadlines.Do you not see how such unpredictability negates "definite" deadlines? Do you not see how previous promises for release dates have not been met due to unforeseen issues arising.Honestly, you guys are out of touch with reality.
Quite the opposite, I'm very much in touch with reality. PMDG have been doing this long enough to know what to factor in for outside pressures. You have to have a plan. whether working full time or part time. As I said I'm not suggesting they publish such dates and so open themselves to criticism if they miss.
And you subject PMDG to impossible standards. What do you think service pack one is going to do for you, imbue you with super powers, and enable you to rule the universe? It's a service pack, stop moaning, and leave PMDG to do their jobs unhindered.
I have not once said I want SP1 ASAP, so I'm not moaning about that. I was commenting on someone else's post about their guess at the situation which I felt was unrealistic. I have asked a few times about the SP1 list, which should be readily available and has been promised (twice). That is not impatience. My view is we already have most of SP1 anyway in the form of HF4. I'd just like to know what has been fixed and improved. We've had four undocumented hotfixes, three of which were "mandatory" so a fix list is long overdue. Publishing fixes and official bug lists is very helpful because it stops people reporting the same things time are time.Kevin Hall

No Miquel. Arthur posted the following....
But in your most recent post, immediately before Miquel's, you quoted a post of mine, not from Arthur, so it looked as if you were venting on me. Well you quoted my words, you didn't actually link to the post, or to Arthur's for that matter, which would make tracing comments easier.Kevin Hall

Some questions, Paul, are you a developer from PMDG?
Nope!
Have you asked to Captain Randazzo, why he said to publish the list?
RSR, already posted that it was Ryan who was going to post the list of fixes and that he was too busy at the moment to do so. He also stated they were in beta testing and we would have SP1 an hour after they felt it was ready. So is pretty obvious they are working as fast as possible to get things resolved and ready for release.
Now , you seem a bit angry with the no release dates, take these advices: relax, chill ou, get a life, go for a walk, enjoy life, family, weather...you know, your favorite advices.
Not angry at all about release dates. I could care less whether SP1 comes out tomorrow or for Christmas. Actually it is probably for the best, that way they do not have to worry about deadlines anymore which in the end is good for us. There is nothing I said above that is not already known or fact if your read through the whole thread. The only thing that makes me angry and upset is reading a bunch of posts from impatient people making demands and thinking it is their god given right to have everything when they want it.

Paul Deemer

If you make three perfect landings the list magically appears in your HUD. I haven't seen the list either.
