Oh big deal. Get over yourself and stop being selfish.SP2 is coming soon. What do you want? The SP to be quicker or the staff to waste their time posting what will be fixed.
SP2? We haven't had SP1 yet. The list of fixes has to already exist within PMDG, so posting it in the forum shouldn't take very long.Kevin Hall

Peter! I guess they are very busy with the SP, but just to convince you, Robert wrote this in the first post in this Thread:"(Oh -and Ryan promised he'd edit up the the change list for the SP1, but he's been too busy to follow through... <sound of bus running over Ryan> Really... Wasn't my fault it didn't get posted. Nope... nosirreee..... hey Ryan, what are you doing under that bus, anyway? )"However it dosen´t bother me if we get the list or not. When the SP is done, we all will know what the changes are./ Leffe
than i take it back, so guess i should go into politics heheh

If they knew that, don't you think they would tell you? They don't, fixing bugs in software isn't easy, fix one thing and you break another.PMDG can't give you a definite date, becuse they don't know themsleves.I have a name for this concept, I call it... common sense!
If PMDG actually don't know themselves then things really are a mess. I work flight simulation and I know all about the problems of fixing software bugs. I also have a lot of experience in project management and working without a projected end date is a recipe for disaster. It simply encourages the project to drift later and later. Calling that concept common sense is ridiculous. If you simply say it'll be finished when it's finished, it will never be finished. This is of course entirely different from PMDG not publishing the end date, which in the circumstances is probably the best idea as if they miss the date people won't get upset.Kevin Hall

Nonsense, utter nonsense.Of course they don't know themselves, they aren't capable of precognition. they can only "estimate", and estimates are frequently wrong... then you would slate them for their tardiness. If they fix a bug tomorrow, they have no idea if it will open a can of worms and be a catalyst for new problems. If they tell you it will "definitely" be next Friday, and in the mean time the bugs they are incorporating fixes for break other aspects of the sim, they won't make the deadline they promised will they?In addition, these guys do this stuff part time. They have day jobs to do and family matters to attend to. Do you not see how someone getting run over by a bus, and illness in ones family can affect deadlines.Do you not see how such unpredictability negates "definite" deadlines? Do you not see how previous promises for release dates have not been met due to unforeseen issues arising.Honestly, you guys are out of touch with reality. And you subject PMDG to impossible standards. What do you think service pack one is going to do for you, imbue you with super powers, and enable you to rule the universe? It's a service pack, stop moaning, and leave PMDG to do their jobs unhindered.

Can we go back to talking about chainsaws, dogs & home improvement projects? That was a lot more interesting.

Martin, you should not be so arrogant. You should read carefully the thred, and be more respectful with the forum. People ask for things to developers, in this case, the SP1 list. If you can´t contribute to that information, ignore the post. And don´t take this attitude.Miquel Egea.

No Miquel. Arthur posted the following....

You're all go out from topic... The only important thing here is an answer of the question "When the SP1 for 737NGX will be released???" I think most of us want a sure date and not only explanation of why it wasn't made possible the released until today... I continued to read post of excused from PMDG team about this SP but nothing useful for buyers who spend money in this product! DATE pls PMDG not tons of excuse! My money were all good from the first at last cents you got and I pretend the product I buy can be also as good as my money, so pls give a valid released date!!!
He was demanding a VALID SP1 release date [not possible] and an explanation as to why it isn't here yet.No arrogance from me, just incredulity at the way individuals on this forum subject PMDG to impossible standards.Do you see where I'm coming from?Enough is enough... lets leave PMDG alone, stop moaning about the service pack, stop moaning about the absence of any service pack fix list, understand that PMDG are working as hard as they can, and...leave the developer alone!!!!!Any one else agree with me?P.S. Apologies if my posts came across as adversarial. Hug.gif

Or how to land this sucker. I still can't get that touch down attitude quite right. Much touchyer (if there is such a word) than the 747 or the MD-11.

As Obi wan kenobe said... Use the HUD Rick, use the HUD.Power back at 30 feet, flare until flightpath vector is just below the horizon line.Flare should only be a few degrees. Are you trying to flare with the autothrust on?

Yep, put it on your touchdown spot & just ride it in! I made a landing yesterday starting out way too low & fast. Would have been impossible for me without the HGS.

I have been waiting so long for a top notch head up display. Now i have one. To be honest, I regard the HUGS as the best thing about the NGX... love it.Can't wait to try a 600 into a baby runway with the HUGS.

So.......about that list that was mentioned....is this still supposed to be released here or not?I mean come on, can´t be THAT hard to copy and paste it and publish it.
