I guess the issue with the mails has little to do with PMDG. I also guess that inbox SPAM settings are the most common cause. Check your inbox default SPAM folders. If it is not in there, then the mail has been discarded by your provider's settings. You will need to add PMDG to your white lists to avoid that in future...I had both mails there, right where they were said to be, the links worked too... am currently "underway"In my mind, this is THE definitive addon to date. Not my case sir. First off all my email service provider allow me to see spam emails in a specific folder on the server (in which I have not seen everything from PMDG). Second, why I could receive the email about -7800 base package purchase if I have a problem with spam setup of my email account?Waiting for a reply by PMDG. Thanks.

You might look into fsuipc. It's a wonderdrug for hardware. There's a free project called Linda that works through fsuipc, people have done great things with it so far.

The purchase confirmation mail comes from Order Server PMDG and the order confirmation with link and activation serial comes from PMDG Simulations LLC, though the mail address is the same [email protected], to write "Not the case of SPAM settings because i recieved the email with the 6/700 purchase invoice. BUT didn´t recieve the email with the serial and download link" implies you do not quite understand how mail server filters actually work.The purchase confirmation is a text mail, with a bit of formatting, nothing fancy. The order confirmation, however, is a lot longer, contains a few links to webpages, one of which is a page that accesses your download for you. In terms of virus/malware mail scanning, the second, longer mail is rather suspicious... it is the nature of the Internet that this is so...Riccardo, the fact that one mail gets through and another doesn't can quite simply be explained by the fact that mail filter can often "learn" which mails are suspicious and which are not. A change in the rule set, or simply interactive learning may have flagged the second mail as "suspicious", even though the first one was considered harmless. Reading between the lines, you appear to be suggesting that PMDG didn't send the second mail, which is thoroughly absurd.It is an automated process, it is not as if there is a person sitting there waiting for the orders to come in and process them...I am sure it will sort... either way, if you haven't done so already, you can pick up the required information by logging into your PMDG account on the website and downloading from there directly. The serial is also in your account...Andrew

As i said before, i have already installed the 6/700 package. I got the two emails when i purchased the ngx and got only one now with the 6/700. And, i have all the spam functions disabled in my email account. So, it´s not a spam thing here in my end.Anyway, the only people who can talk about this with knowledge are someone from pmdg staff.Thanks.

BF3 ftw!Back to this expansion, can anyone tell me the general differences between the -700 and -800? I normally fly the -800WL as a BBJ, would the -700 give me better takeoff performance, or is it any faster than the -800?

Couple days later and still hadn't received the second email from PMDG...looked in Spam folders and such.I'm pretty sure there is an email issue as multiple individuals with numerous permutations of email security setups etc seem to be having the same issue.But I got the info off the order page later anyways, but for some it probably was a bit nerve-wracking, even for me for a couple minutes there.

About download you can access your account page, view your historical order, select the -6700 expansion purchase, scroll down the page and you have the download link.I am waiting the email too, not for download, but only to get purchase proof. Bye.

I have the same problem of other about e-mails after the order confirmation.I downloaded from the after-purchase link and used the code in the page, it worked, so not checked the email address to see them.Now, reading at these posts I checked the email and there are no pmdg messages after base package purchase. I have only the paypal payment receipt. If I log on PMDG site I can find the order, the link and the code,but wondering if it is possible to get the e-mails just for backup. If this is possible I'll send a ticket, if not, I will not try to waste my and pmdg time.
