Isn't this VC McPhat work? I'm surprissed that most people have problems with VC.

The designed the VC as well as the external visual model.

16-18 FPS....hhmmm

Copy and paste from another post I made.

------------------------------

I only got 45 mins with this DC-9 last night and did not even get the engines started. Cold and dark.

This is what I found and thought within that given time.

VC with textures set to 4096 Amazing, super sharp, so if there blurry it's your setting not the DC-9. The only bit that is not hiRes is the cockpit door and how much time to you use looking at that.

FPS at UK2000 EGNX with all sliders at MAX and FPS locked inside FSX =24, so with my "tube/NGX" setting am sure I they will hit the 30 limit.

I set the DC-9 in a cold and dark state and used the trainer and it walks you though every step with pop up 2D views with arrow showing where the buttons are and what state to set them in.

The check list is great and your FO calls for them but you have to do everything its not got FS2Crew build in. But its still very good to have.

So far I would say it's just what I hoped it would be....I must buy because it so different to the NGX but could be just as good and the setting up of failures is better than the NGX

EDIT: BTW I have a 2 year old PC.

EDIT: I will try and take some tonight Ben.

EDIT: Ben.....just buy it :P

Damien, if you have any good NGX profiles for EZDOCK, suggest you import the set to the DC-9. It works really well, then you just set up the cameras the way you want them.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey guys, I´m back in bussiness again. I had been away several weeks/months cause another game (World of Tanks) was just too good to not leave it.

But now I´m back again and I´m really looking forward to do my flight planning for ther NGX again. So far enough off-topic I guess.

The DC-9 looks really nice and I think I´ll get it soon. I was always fascinated of these old "fuel-to-noise"-converters but the lack of an good 727 addon (I loved Dreamfleet´s version for FS9 but the Captain Sim one for FSX was a leddown with too unacurate systems.) stopped that love. Now I think that one will be all right for me (being bored about the easy startup on the 737 NGX). So might anyone desribe the systems a bit more in detail? Is everything working as you can expect it (in comparison to the NGX as top notch systems plane.)?

Best regards, Steffen

Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

I want real photos from users not company provided "in-game" shots.

Me too Ben

I'll work on it shortly. I'm about to fire her up and make a little flight. In the mean time, I think she's pretty. Night textures really need some work. Namely the broken night panel flood lights and lack of any exterior light effects at night on the liveries.
