I see your point on the VC, Damien. Keep on reporting, please. Perhaps it's just a thing or two to fix since the rest of the plane's setup (system detail, trainer app, failures) looks amazing to say the least.

 

Me is loving the Maddog so far, so I was hoping to fly a steam gauged DC-9 in great detail.

 

Edited. Lets hope the TML value fixes it, but my guess would be that it does not. I'm only running 1024 and have sharp panels on the NGX, Carenado and CS 'HD' planes for example.

 

There's an option in FSX to allow hi-res VCs, that one is vital though. Settings > Aircraft > 'High-resolution 3-D virtual cockpit'.

Well, just guessing on the problem with the blurry overhead text.

 

TML value did fix the problem with the blurred text on the overhead. I've got all other values pegged at full as my new system allowed me to do so. Rebuilding the fsx.cfg and tweaking it today to get the best of the best going..

I changed my texture max load to 4096 and it appears to have made textures more sharp, however now in the cockpit I have some white squares flashing all around...

Well I purchased her and took her for a spin. Crisp clear textures, not heavy on the framerates so far. Beautiful handflyer.

The VC is not what I see in my NGX but more then Ok for me, given the depth of this simulation. Very happy camper so far!

From 16 to 18 FPS with addon scenery that isn't particularly heavy on FPS and has medium amount of traffic, Havana intl airport from Taxi2Gate.

Hey guys,

Well, other than the obvious difficulties that a glass simmer faces when transitioning to a DC-9, I have the blurry overhead panel problem, and thats the only part of the VC that is blurry. I checked my TML, and it is set to 4096, "HD Cockpit" was checked under the Aircraft section, and I'm not quite sure what is up.

Any ideas?

Isn't this VC McPhat work? I'm surprissed that most people have problems with VC.
