January 3, 201214 yr Captain Sim 707 and FSL Concorde X. Wait, my favourite GA stuff would be the Aerosoft Katana plus Orbx scenery of any kind. What? That's four? Count again! Edited January 3, 201214 yr by CoolP
January 3, 201214 yr If it really had to be only two then I'm afraid I'd have to pick two programs I use EVERY time I fly in FSX and so that would rule out scenery and aircraft. I just enjoy too many different add ons in those categories. However I never fly without AS2012 (ASE prior to it) providing weather, and FSXpand providing a full panel or two of instruments. January 3, 201214 yr PNW and Bay Tower's RV-7a. Although I would really miss (NOT in random order) EZDok (for smoothly switching easily made made views AND the very immersive motion effects), REX (clouds, sky and water reflections) and ASE (for beatiful weather).I am glad I am not allowed to mention hardware because there is only ONE thing I would never want to miss and that's TrackIR. Even without PNW, RV-7a and all the rest, I would still be able to get some enjoyment out of FSX (for a short while) but NOT without TrackIR!
January 3, 201214 yr Ngx and as2012.Would probably not fly much with just those two though - need ut2, enb, ezdok and some great scenery to make it fun. Oz Sim Rig: MSI RTX3090 Suprim, an old, partly-melted Intel 9900K @ 5GHz+, Honeycomb Alpha, Thrustmaster TPR Rudder, Warthog HOTAS, Reverb G2, Prosim 737 cockpit. Currently flying: MSFS: PMDG 737-700, Fenix A320, Leonardo MD-82, MIlviz C310, Flysimware C414AW, DC Concorde, Carenado C337. Prepar3d v5: PMDG 737/747/777. January 3, 201214 yr For me so far, the only payware addons I have are Captain Sim 727 and GEX North America. David Norman Paul
January 3, 201214 yr Leonardo Maddog and Aerosoft Stockholm Arlanda. After all that time and all those addons, that's a combination that I still revisit with much happiness and pleasure. Probably seems insane, doesn't it? Even though I thoroughly enjoy the PMDG 737NGX, I find that it lacks the "personality" of the good 'ol MD-82, the Maddog. And Arlanda is an airport that performs ratehr well for me, is in a natural environment I love, and has a layout that I deeply like for some strange, unknown reason, although I guess it has something to do with the fact that ESSA was the first addon airport I loaded up in FS98 all those years ago. January 3, 201214 yr Like many said above, two is a very limited choice when we have so many great addons around. But having to point out the winners... iFly737NG&FS2Crew (see it as one) + FSUIPC.However, reading your initial question, I am not sure if you mean the 2 we already have or the 2 we would like to have (more probably): if you could have 2 of any software addons, which would you pick?If the latter, then I have everything I really want because this is how I do it - I buy what I really like and skip on addons I don't care about. Then, I am looking forward to some scenery addons being developed under Aerosoft's wing.2 examples being: a new version of EDDF and also HESH for leisure purposes (not to mention Canary Islands, but it would make it 3).
