I have to say the Aerosoft Bronco gets my vote at the moment.

A new fully updated V 2.0 of the Twotter is nearing completion in the Aeosoft shop.

I'm with you on the ATR, though. I'd really love to have a better rendition of that one (and the 72)

I found the Flight1 ATR 72 superb, even got smear marks behind the wiper blades and a functioning prop brake. Admittedly, I've never tried the FSX port though.

I love my PMDG J41, easily my favourite plane in FSX for the last few years.

What about the Flight1 PC12?.. but my recommendation would actually be to get the Turbine Duke.

I would agree there, the PC12 is great - if a bit long in the tooth now. I have the Bronco, C90 and Duke and tend to prefer the Duke over the other two. Although the Bronco is great for exploring as the visibility from the cockpit is probably the best there is....

In regards to the ATR, with the fsx model it is okay. The paint quality is not the best when compared to others. Also, the cockpit is a little dated, but it is still a joy to fly.

Is there any development team working on advanced EMB-120, ATR-42 or DASH-8-q200 with VC?

There actually is. RazbamSims just announced on their Facebook page that after their metro they are doing a EMB120 which should be good

I found the Flight1 ATR 72 superb.

So did I, though it might not sound like it. What I intended to say is, that it just isn't up to today's standard anymore. I mean developers like PMDG, Realair and Carenado provided us with really superbly modelled planes in the last few years and have thus risen the bar. And even thought it's absolutely unfair to compare a plane that was actually developed for FS9, and then ported over to FSX, we can't help but do exactly that.

And the ATR sure does deserve that exact treatment for FSX as well!

Carenado turboprops are hard to beat. I have all of them, however, having sat up front in a real C90, I can say that the King Air C90 k 200 have eceptionally good flight modelling for an FSX plane. The throttle/prop action in ground control is very realistic. Most KA pilots manage taxiing and braking 90% with the trottles which Carenado did a very nice job of. You do need to make certain your yoke is carefully calibrated through FSUIPC and not FSX to enable accurate reversing, etc.

Visually, they all look very nice. Id take flight modelling any day over how they look.

Another vote for the T-Duke...best PT-6 simulation out there at the moment, it has limitations and consequences like the real one.

PMDG J-41 and Aerosoft Bronco are also very awesome and have great simulations of the TPE-331.

A few to look forward to, F1 B200, Milviz MU-2, and Razbam Metro/Merlin series.

Cheers

Like all here, I love the Turbine Duke, but the Pilatus PC-12 is better for longer distances - I flew around the earth with it, and there is a cargo model as well as other models.
