Look what A2A is bringing us now!

Instant buy IF it's compatible with EZCA and NGX type of a/c (advanced sound).

How would I enjoy the Accu-feel than? All windows are open on the next NGX flight.. it's gonna be mind-blowing! Big%20Grin.gif

Quoting myself: "One thing is for sure-I would re-purchase every single one of my current payware aircraft if the A2A magic was to work on them!"Looks like I don't have to :Party:The more of FSX core shifted to the A2A engine the better. I wonder what it would take to replicate the full A2A aircraft FPS/smoothness performance with default/other third party add-ons. Imagine being able to run the majority of your aircraft with the same performance levels I witnessed with the B377 over KSEA with full AI traffic and clouds.I look forward with great interest to this and future developments.

Amazing. I have wanted a model where you hear that rumble when lowering the gear on final for quite some time, this and the NGX would be fantastic. The old planes even RATTLE! :(

Thanks,

Looks very nice!Question: Are the settings global or per aircraft?Cheers,- jahman.

Yet another aspect of flight simulation that Looking Glass nailed well over a decade ago in Flight Unlimited 3. The rumble when I lowered the landing gear in the Beechjet 400A was very nice, and the sound of the thrust reversers after touchdown was the icing on the cake :(

For as far as I understood, Accufeel uses the model of the aircraft to "decide" what the settings should be like. So while the settings are per aircraft on the basis that Accufeel customizes itself for use with the currently selected aircraft, it's actually global in that there doesn't seem to be a way to tie a specific configuration to a specific aircraft like you can do with FSUIPC's control settings. Perhaps this is an idea for a feature in Accufeel, if it doesn't already exists?Ted: I have been long on the fence with the B377. While I find the model and simulaiton generally aweosme, it's just not the type of aircraft I tend to fly. Still, I cna make exceptions if the plane really is that good. Flying it in the Carribean, for exmaple, would be nice I think. You mention greta performance: how is it compared to the 737NGX, LDS767, planes like that?

Thanks for your reply.Yes, that's how I understand it as well, however there would seem to be room for custom settings per aircraft, in addition to the model customization done when the add-on scans the air.cfg of the aircraft. For example, I might want a loose cockpit for the DC-3 but a tight one for the Turbine Duke, tire squealing on the Turbine Duke but none for the PMDG 744, etc.Cheers,- jahman.

Cheers,- jahman.
There is no right forum to ask this. You real name isn't jahman, right?

Yeah, but I think these settings aren't saved upon model switch or exit from the sim. So the next time you load up the aircraft, the settings will be back to what Accufeel "thinks" is right. It would be great if your adjusted settings would be saved for each airplane model.

Hm, nice but a bit too late for me. Who is waiting for updates on FSX default planes? Would have been nice the first months after FSX was released. And the planes I currently fly already have great sounds (wind and all) and effects and EZdok delivers the rest. Nice idea though.

If you are referring to overall system performance (i.e. is it smooth) as I mentioned in the review the model is pure hot knife through butter within FSX. I do not have the PMDG 737NGX/LDS767; however, flying out of KSEA with full Ultimate Traffic 2 AI and Orbx PNW scenery on my modest system I experienced zero stutters, pauses, or other typical anomalies usually associated with flying in such performance-challenging areas. I even get the odd issue flying the Aerosoft Beaver X/Twin Otter within 50nm of KSEA under those conditions...usually some stutter/pause/other annoyance that simply does not occur with the A2A B377 no matter where I flew it.Then again the B377 and associated systems and audio are apparently fully divorced from FSX code and obviously that much more efficient leaving more resources free for less-efficient FSX base stuff. Rather elegant and deft solution as I understand it.....you have to experience it yourself. It really is *that good* and flying some chilled routes out of Miami to various glam destinations in the Caribbean sounds perfect actually. I don't think you'd miss your FMC's one iota :( .
