February 21, 201214 yr I am considering purchasing EZDOK, I use PMDG aircraft exclusively so was wondering if using ezdok is easier or better than using the "A" key to cycle through the different interior views. Smoother operation???Thanks Phill Dant
February 21, 201214 yr This is one of the top "must haves" for FSX. And yes - you can easily setup a joystick button to cycle views or anything you wish.

The setup, though easy, is actually very much complicated at first. Read the directions front to back. PM me and I'll share my camera files to get you started.Version 1.17 has introduced a new "world camera", which is neat. Setting up vibration, dynamic head movement, and random shaking is still a bear. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

I am not familure with trackIR but I do move around quite a bit while flying so I don't know how that affects TIR. Phill Dant

I am not familure with trackIR but I do move around quite a bit while flying so I don't know how that affects TIR.Let me clarify. No need for TrackIR! EZDok, of course, creates great camera shake effects, but it also makes navigation around the cockpit fast and simple. It makes a non-TrackIR user's life easier.Just a heads up, I suggest clearing any commands that use a combination of Ctrl and a number:VOR 1 Ident (On/Off) VOR 2 Ident (On/Off) MKR Ident (On/Off) DME Ident (On/Off) ADF Ident (On/Off) After that, use these commands for your commonly used cameras. February 21, 201214 yr While there's no need for TrackIR, the combination of EZDOK with TrackIR is terriffic, and is what most people swear by.Regarding understanding how to properly set-up EZDOK, there are several video tutorials on YouTube , and .Marniftarr is a genius!Cheers,- jahman. February 21, 201214 yr Hi,I purchased EZDOK twice and returned it twice. Just could not figure out how to set it up. Then after viewing some tutorials by Eric Krueger I decided to try it one more time. Really glad I did. He explains how to set it up in a way that even I could understand. I really love the program and use it all the time now. Get it. You won't be sorry.Jim
February 21, 201214 yr I would also agree that EZDok is almost as important as FSUIPC for me.HOWEVER, support is dire :sad:Not a massive problem to overcome, as thankfully there are some truly GREAT guys here always willing to help. April 10, 201214 yr EZDok is a must, and I especially enjoy getting around my NGX cockpit way better and gracefully than before. But Im really struggling to set up the effect generators, this is heavy duty. I hope some genious would come up with the right settings to share with all of us NGX heads. But before that happens it would be of great help if the developers shared some more knowledge and created setups for the major addons people prefer. Other than that I really hope v1.18 incorporate vibrations based upon rpm. Imagine having the camera increase vibration as your engines come to life and furthermore everytime you drive that N1 to takeoff-thrust :yahoo: cheers Bernt Michael Johansen|ENGM i7-960|ATI 5870|8 GB|Win7 64
April 10, 201214 yr Too bad they don't support Freetrack. I know there are some problems they are not willing to fix, so for me this addon is game over. Mateusz Kapusta
April 10, 201214 yr I'm getting the simulated head bobble from bumps and such, but is it also possible to get the same type of head latency that FSX originally shipped with? I miss that especially on takeoff where you can see that you are being pushed back in the seat. Bud Estrada

EZCA comes with some good DHM settings for a few of the default aircraft, for example the 172 and the Maule. Load those up and export the DHM settings and then you can import them into the DHM page for any aircraft you please.
April 11, 201214 yr AoA have a setup ready made for the NGX....their videos are all made with EZDOCK so they posted their settings for both the MD11 and the NGX...check out their website. I use the NGX AoA profile unchanged...I had to tweak the MD11 a little as even a "greaser" felt like I was about to lose tooth fillings.... Mind you, the effect when airborne is absolutely superb!
