February 23, 201214 yr 25 years ago the first Airbus A320 took off into the skies.Today almost 5 thousand A32X's fly all around the world. As this is my favourite narrowbody aircraft, I raise a toast: cheers, A320! :(
February 23, 201214 yr Happy Birthday to the Nemisis of the 737.....Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
February 24, 201214 yr Happy Birthday to the Nemisis of the 737.....CheersYour treaded on some pretty thin water there son! Believe me, our 737 program is alive and doing better than ever! Edited February 24, 201214 yr by Barnstormer1 ArDee
February 24, 201214 yr Your treaded on some pretty thin water there son!LOL - Why Because I am a BIG BIG Boeing Fan.I am still upset over the Air New Zealand decision to go with the A320 instead of the 737's. ANZ is an all Boeing airline except for those DANG A320's....and one crashed killing our pilot and technicians off the coast of France during trials....Edit: Sorry that was five New Zealanders killed in that A320 (one pilot, three aircraft engineers and one member of the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand).Anyhow....Happy Birthday A320 Edited February 24, 201214 yr by ytzpilot Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

February 24, 201214 yr Author I hoped we would avoid these childish AvB remarks... :sad:But some people just can't get enough.
February 24, 201214 yr Happy Birthday A320!Proving there's room for two great families of narrowbodies in the sky since 1987! John-Alan Pascoe
February 24, 201214 yr I hoped we would avoid these childish AvB remarks... :sad:But some people just can't get enough.Don't worry Rafal. The tediously unoriginal 'If it ain't Boeing...' remark will always appear at least once in any thread about Airbus. It's a traditional and cherished part of the AVSIM forum world. :rolleyes:Do you think anyone has actually put it into practise? "Excuse me, but can I get off please. I've just realised I'm on an aeroplane made by Airbus Industrie.." Anyway, great post. Happy birthday indeed. I love the A320 (but my fave is the utterly beautiful stretched A340...)Ian Edited February 24, 201214 yr by oldbear

February 24, 201214 yr Author Proving there's room for two great families of narrowbodiesDon't forget Embraer and Canadair.Great there is choice in the world.'If it ain't Airbus I'll go by..er..bus'Should be: If it's boeing, I'm not going. :(

February 24, 201214 yr If it ain't Airbus, I get nervous.. :(Aargh, no!It's too close to 'I get nervous on the Scarebus'! :Nail Biting:I've got it. How about:"Whatever the aircraft, as long as it's been well maintained and there are two or more highly professional and very well trained pilots up front - preferably including Capt Sully - then I'm going"It just rolls off the tongue, wouldn't you say? ^_^Ian
