I meant specifically hints of old friends perhaps prematurely pronounced dead. Boat traffic, AI traffic, ATC............ :Whistle:

I can't remember who said that but in an old Flight's forum thread somebody said that stuff was there, locked but not deleted...... :Whistle:

The two missions you need to do to earn the free flight mode only take a few minutes each to do, maximum 15 minutes for both, then you can do whatever you want after that.

Amazing to me that the release was done regionally.....You would think in the day in age of being a 'Global Village' that MS Flight would be released globally for everyone all at once.ANyhow....Enjoy Flight guysCheers

I think this was the intent of the FLIGHT Team (the second part i mean... to release globally all at once).And I think it was "accidentally" discovered by a few "resourceful" individuals... that it could be downloaded now.Btw... a suggestion... let's keep to the "the glass is half full" i.e. maybe not assume "the worst" about FLIGHT and the FLIGHT Team.

I have assigned my Saitek joystick throttle to the throttle. When I move it the HUD shows it responding but it then returns to 85% regardless of position. Any Ideas?

+1I've made a few negative comments in the past I admit. But we've got something fresh and new, with actually pretty awesome graphics and dynamics and silky smooth performance. Am I going to abandon FSX and all my add ons for it? No of course not. But for now I'm seeing Flight as a bit of fun and something new, with potential, and look forward to seeing what happens with it. Meanwhile FSX is right where I left it.

Your throttle will not work until you get to the part of the first mission/lesson where you are told to increase your throttle, to reach the balloon at a higher altitude.
