March 2, 201214 yr I think part of it boils down to everyone is concerned about "rankings" Thumbs up/thumbs down, Post count, member since . . .Well what is at the top of the forum main page - "TOP 10 . . ." It is a lot of folks competitive nature, right or wrong. What does TOP 10 Online users matter anyway - shouldn't be there in the first place if you don't want comments on it . . . Joe Lorenc
March 2, 201214 yr And the first reason they listed after they asked why YTZ was:So no, they didn't just ask why... The only think I think is sad are those that can not post without a backhanded insult in the process...Nuff said...I saw that too....but their is always that from a few on the Internet. Doesn't represent the majority. Don't let them ruffle your feathers mate....Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
March 2, 201214 yr I saw that too....but their is always that from a few on the Internet. Doesn't represent the majority. Don't let them ruffle your feathers mate....CheersThanks Matthew...And if some of you guys really don't like it so much then hit the little x to the side and don't even show it and be done with it, out of sight out of mind... March 2, 201214 yr Thanks Matthew...And if some of you guys really don't like it so much then hit the little x to the side and don't even show it and be done with it, out of sight out of mind...That is what I have been thinking all along, but if I posted that, all heck would break lose.
March 2, 201214 yr Commercial Member Funny thing is I didn't even know it existed until I read this thread. When I found it I was expecting a bunch of guys with a few posts, however it looks like everyone in the top 10 are helpful guys that everyone knows. Also my initial comment about sad individuals was not aimed at the OP. Rob Prest
March 2, 201214 yr That is what I have been thinking all along, but if I posted that, all heck would break lose.Well come on Jim you have more posts than some and for some the only thing they know how to do when someone else has more than them is to lash out ;) Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
March 2, 201214 yr Ill have to agree with psolk,as the no life comment... I dont care that my neighbour is on avsim for 24 hours a day!!!!As for the no electricity to pay..... I leave my pc running most of all day, does it matter to others, it really shouldnt, not your bill!!!No need for sleep...... If your rested, then who cares about how much sleep buddy across the street had the last few days!!!!Competition..... well IMHO competition is a good thing, if noone had competition in them, well there would be no red bull air races, or nascar races, or drag races, or proffesional sports as hockey, baseball etc. etc.... so yes competiotion is good!!! March 3, 201214 yr This really got me wondering, so I checked the forum periodically to see if I am listed as being online. Dang, everytime I checked, I was listed as online. I have the same problem with the refrigerator light always being on.(I just posted this stupidity to see how much logged on time is displayed on my post) Art
March 3, 201214 yr Same here... My iPhone and computer are set to "remember password" and "remember me" so I don't have to put in my user ID and password again. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 4, 201214 yr Just realised that somewhow in the past day I've appeared on that list aswell... eh?!I believe it doesn't count the time if you're not actually browsing the forum. Did a test earlier and the time only accumulated when I was clicking through the pages. Just staying logged in and closing my browser stops the timer for me. Also staying static on one page stops the timer.I can only imagine how many mouses the guys *cough* on the Top-10 list get through each day :( Sam Nicholson - UK Only just got back in to flight simming and Avsim after a year or so - pardon me whilst I find my feet again!
March 4, 201214 yr Indeed, Oh well - it's been removed now. :( Sam Nicholson - UK Only just got back in to flight simming and Avsim after a year or so - pardon me whilst I find my feet again!
March 4, 201214 yr I acually share his "bad attitude"...Seems right on to me..If you don't know what's going on and have no clue how erroneous the times actually are were, I guess it would be right on... I reckon you're okay with rude comments since you agree. :( Edited March 4, 201214 yr by ZachLW ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

March 4, 201214 yr Moderator Really?Personally what I find sad is the need to worry about such trivial things that others do that have absolutely zero affect on your life and then start rattling off insults. This affects you how? What do you care what someone else wants to do with their time or money...Have you guys ever heard of live and let live or to each their own?The same could be said about the debate and attitudes surrounding Microsoft Flight...
