It won't if you map the soft mute button so that its the same as your PTT button for your VATSIM client, which is very easy to do. I believe the soft mute mapping is propellor sync.

Guys. What is "737NG Audio Ground School for Windows" for? Is it for how to use FS2crew product or something about 737NG? I am just trying to make a decision if I really need Captain's set.Thanks.

Chris answered it here, but look below it, too:

In the older versions, you had to set up a soft mute, but if I remember correctly, there's a new feature in this NGX version that automatically does it. I could have misread the post, however. I think it was something about it automatically recognizing the PTT within SB or FSINN and setting that as the soft mute.Like I said, I could be wrong.

Kyle, I believe you're thinking about the F/O automatically setting the transponder in the VATSIM/IVAO client (except FSINN). I don't recall seeing that and there's no automatic soft mute as far as I can tell (I'm using FSINN), but I also could be wrong.

got it, installed it, flew some touch and goes. Love it!.Best combination of aircraft and FS2crew yet!He heard every word and did everything I asked (That an F/O would be asked to do lol). Really helps so much to have someone remined you when you forget something also hehe.

I could very well be thinking that, yeah.

This is an in depth explanation of the various panels and functions of the 737 NG by an online 737 captain. Very well done. I have been using it to better understand just what every switch or button does in the cockpit. It's stand alone and does not interact with FS.

I just purchased this program because of the positive comments of other users, however I installed it, selected the button option and I'm still trying to make the Captain to shut up!, the guy has given the departure briefing like 48 times! I can't select anything else or make it stop. The only way is by shutting down the sim. Anybody has gone thru this? I even took off... and he was still talking :(

I've used FS2Crew since its premier with the original NG for FS2004. I wasn't sure how well the voice command will work but after a quick test flight, I'm really impressed! This is the "smoothest" version of FS2C yet. And using voice there are many other commands than the button version, such as setting the MCP like "Set Speed 210".
