Before the update I could select the forum using either "mobile" or "full" mode and I invariably used the full (normal) mode. Since the update this facility has been lost - the forum always loads in mobile mode and selecting full mode has no effect. Using IPhone or IPad, we are stuck in mobile mode.Wondered if anyone else was seeing this?John R

Same here as I only bought it for Avsim. Also the same issues as above. I Use Atomic Browser and tell it to ID itself as Internet Explorer 8 to enable desktop.

John, I have the same problem. I like using the full mode on my iPad but when I hit the "Full Version button, nothing happens.

We are working on this too. It's pending in the Project Tracker under MORE > Tracker. Check it out.

Thanks for the update Chase, unfortunately on iPad Safari not only are we forced into the AVSIM 'mobile' mode, but that tracker page comes up as an empty page in mobile mode.Will wait patiently for the fix.

Yeah, since Tracker is a third party "app" for the forum, I don't believe it's integrated to be mobile. I too am patiently awaiting the mobile mode to be fixed.

The most annoying thing in the mobile version is that it's not possible to mark a particular forum as read. I can only mark entire avsim as read...

That's another reason for me to use the full version on iPad, but it's still not working...

 

Hi there, is anyone looking at sitewide issues for iOS devices? It appears the top-level navigation does not display, which makes the whole site largely inpenetrable (e.g. How do I get to the file library from the homepage on iOS?

 

And could I just check what the "full version" button should be doing?

The full version button is supposed to load the normal web page version instead of mobile version. It will look the same as on your desktop computer.
