Cool thread and some nice pic's guys, here are some shots of mine, the small one on the left is my first build (Q6600) its refereed to as the "Google Machine" because I don't have any AV on my main fsx pc, and when my wife goes to all her facebook and tweet sites she has to use that machinebiggrin.gif. Anyways it runs on both those 19 in lcd's , I use it for my charts, fscommander, ASE, and fsinn. My main fsx pc is an i7 build, it was the first time I used a full tower case, I was really surprised how huge the thing was when it arrived but man its great to build in when you have big clumsy handsbiggrin.gif I have everything linked together with a free open source program called synergy, its kinda like a KVM switch except its software(best way I could describe it) So I can just use one mouse and keyboard to control both machines.Picture035.jpgPicture036.jpgHPIM2010.jpg

What kind of yoke is that?
Thanks for the encouragement on the house cleaning Stephen. The components are listed in my signature. Of note is that the yoke has been torn-down and rebuilt with different bushings so that the shaft doesn't stick when flaring for landing (as the CH FlightSim Yoke is known to do). Also, I find the extra USB mini-keyboard to really enhance the experience by making key assignments and placing labels per the attached.

Ian - If I ever splurge on a case, it's probably going to be on one of those Obsidians. You're not helping me keep my money in my wallet, haha.Bob - Let us know when you do. Looks like it might take a while! Big%20Grin.gif

Nice thread, Stephen  Below are some pictures of my pc. As you can see I'm not a big fan of fancy gaming cases  The cabling could have been better, but the cooling is still effective. There are 6 S-ATA disks mounted.
Lots of power there Ulf! Thanks for sharing with us.Kind regards,
Thanx Stephen - I currently have a 28 and a 22 but I've been toying with the idea of a 40ish HDTV for as monitor.IS there any reason why you went to HDMI->DVI cable as opposed to HDMI->HDMI? I know the gtx480 has an hdmi output. Does/would it make any difference?Vic
I don't think which kind of cable likely makes much difference, but the one I used was quick at hand and economical. By the way, more than likely if you took your computer into a TV store they would let you try every large screen in there to see what fits you best!Kind regards,

Wow Ian, that is a super setup. I really like how you have shelves for each part of the system. Looks great!Kind regards,
Not the greatest picture, but I'm in!
I love that coolermaster case. I had my eye on it, but now I won't be buying anything new for awhile. 980X (sigh), I wish :Whew: Kind regards,
Lazza,Do you ever use that big screen for flying? Nice controls!Kind regards,

Dexter,Holy cow, it looks like a cross between Alien and the bridge of the Enterprise (Next Generation)! Very impressive to say the least. Serious gaming equipment!Kind regards,

I went to the forum help section for an answer, but found that things posted there don't get answers, so I came back here. Why do the computer setup pictures appear in some of these posts, but a box with a red X appears in others where you have to click on it to see the picture. Is there a size limit? If that is the reason, what is the limit? I can't find anything to explain it. Thanks.

So, you're saying I could run my smaller HP box and my main rig using one KB with that synergy software? Does it impact fps any?

Yes and no there is no fps impact that I can see. Its pretty simple to set up but there are some tricks as with anything, I have been using it for a few years now. Here is the linkhttp://synergy-foss.org/
