April 22, 201214 yr Because someone has to speak about issues otherwise new comers may think all these tons of golden syrup is not spontaneous. Issues? You mean 'issues' like the ILS 'not working'? Or simply the issues you personally seem to have with the game? If you REALLY want to help new comers, consider not posting on the Flight forum for a while. At least not before you get your facts straight. That will help EVERYONE.
April 22, 201214 yr Because someone has to speak about issues otherwise new comers may think all these tons of golden syrup is not spontaneous. It would, perhaps, be more effective to choose actual issues, rather than harping on things "not working" that are actually working perfectly fine. Flight has plenty of real issues, so let's focus on the ones that actually exist and do need to be addressed.
April 22, 201214 yr Sorry to have hit your favorite toy, even if you deflected towards me your censorship. Back to the topic, I do not like the idea of Alaska because it is the same of Hawaii with some snowy mountains and gazillions of square Kilometers of nothing. I already know this is gonna be boring when flying over it for 5-8 hours with a single propeller. It would have been definitely better, smarter and wiser to have released Alps instead, with at least a twin otter in favor of the usual boring WWII plane ( maybe also without cockpit ) Put like that I have to agree. 'Spontaneous golden syrup' does sounds rather exciting... :Whistle: :LMAO: Yeah, it may be read also in that way but there too many young forumers here we have to stop the diversion :excl:
April 23, 201214 yr Keeping in mind the Zero for Hawaii, I was hoping they would include a pilotable model of the Exxon Valdez... Dick
April 23, 201214 yr Back OT, maybe this is a usefull hint as to the Alaskan release date. From the MSFlight facebook page. Catch up on your Aerocache hunts! From April 18-May 17, we’ll have two Aerocaches of the Day each day in order to ensure that players in all time zones have a convenient time to find and get credit for the Aerocaches that didn’t save before the May 16 title update. (bold mine)
April 25, 201214 yr The new plane released today should keep our minds off Alaska for at least another month. Happy flying. Jason BocheDelta Virtual Airlines Assistant Chief Pilot, B767-300
April 25, 201214 yr I don't know. I can feel that we are approaching yet another Rubicon in flights development, where "something" will have to happen. Hopefully, Alaska. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. April 28, 201214 yr Someone over at the beta forums said that Alaska is set for release on May 30th. I haven't confirmed it yet, but I will when I post again. I'll try to keep you guys up to date ASAP. Hopefully, it will bring some hope back to the community. April 28, 201214 yr Updated to June 27, and it wasn't a developer. I'm going with June 27 as well. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
April 28, 201214 yr Updated to June 27, and it wasn't a developer. I'm going with June 27 as well. Hook Bummer... that's a long way off... So I have to keep myself buy for yet another two months with Hawaii... Hm...
April 28, 201214 yr That's ok, I was halfway afraid it would be July 25. Looks like we've gained a month. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather be dissappointed once by a realistically long date, then be pleasantly surprised if it comes earlier, than to be continuously disappointed that it's not out yet. Still plenty of stuff to do in Hawaii. I just passed 190 flying hours and still have more to do than I expect to get done. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! April 28, 201214 yr Updated to June 27, and it wasn't a developer. I'm going with June 27 as well. Hook Assuming they stick to a consistent DLC release schedule and the next warbird is the final Hawaii DLC, then yes, end of June.
April 28, 201214 yr I just passed 190 flying hours and still have more to do than I expect to get done. I agree with you. Though having only 34 hours flying time under my belt, the handful of 'entertainment dollars' spent thus far feels like excellent value for money. The islands, and the Maule, cost me substantially less than a modest dinner out last night, that only lasted about 2.5 hours. This is why I am so surprised when I hear about being 'ripped off' by MS, when we are only weeks into the launch of a still promising modular product.
May 11, 201214 yr Updated to June 27, and it wasn't a developer. I'm going with June 27 as well. Hook Can you post a link to where you got that from? I don't think June 27 is right because it won't be Spring anymore. I say it should be released end of this month. Jehan Kateli
