April 13, 201214 yr Hi, since yesterday my King Air is hard to fly. After reaching hights about 8000 ft and speed is reaching the white arc, the bird begins to shiver/nick. I've made a small video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8WBzEPQqp0 Any idea for the reason of this fast movements? The AP also doesn't work on ALT or ALT SEL, the input will be ignored. :-( Allways three greens,Markus VFR-Flightsimmer.de
April 13, 201214 yr That's an odd one.. Surface icing, prop ice maybe? Your gauges look normal... I've had the C90 up to 20,000 and never experienced anything like your video shows.. That is one rough ride you got going on there. April 13, 201214 yr Yeah looks like its fighting something wanting it to climb. Start by loading a default Cessna "basic plane". I had a issue when saving a default flight where some AP commands carried over to the plane and were on when loaded. BTW- I always get a small "bunnyhop" just after I touch down. Its just like I hit a speedbump.
April 13, 201214 yr Are you using A2A's accufeel by any chance? If so disable it :) Intel Core i7-3770K @ 4.4GHz|Asus Maximus V Extreme|16Gb Ballitix Tracer @ 1866MHz|EVGA GTX680 SC Signature SLI|Asus Xonar Pheobus|Custom Watercooling|Corsair AX1200W PSU|CM Cosmos II
April 13, 201214 yr Mmmmm interesting video as my King Air did that too. I have only done one quick flight, and at the time thought maybe it was a sort of built in overspeed warning (so to speak). I think my Turbine Duke does somethig similar if I overspeed, no? Anyway shortly after my plane got the shakes I got the red overspeed warning in the lower right corner of my screen. Then when I slowed the speeds down I thought the shakes went away, but I could be wrong. I do have the Accufeel thing, and will try again with that off. Love Airplanes and American Muscle Cars
April 14, 201214 yr Disable any WX you have, also make sure FS isn;t loading up an old metar file it has downloaded... April 14, 201214 yr Rossdh good idea. The accusim prog has created some wierd effects mainly just as you stated. I am not looking at it now but turn it off and /or move the stall/buffet sliders full right. The Asoft F-16 goes through a simular bounce even way above its stall speed since its not accurately set by the sliders.
April 14, 201214 yr I did two flights tonite with the Accufeel turned off. The shakes were gone and the flights were smooth, even when I intentionally overspeeded. Based on that it appears the Accufeel was causing a problem. Did discover a new problem though, after my flight is finished and I try to exit out to the free flight menu, FSX crashes to the desktop, and the error report window pops up. This happened on all 3 of my flights so far. Love Airplanes and American Muscle Cars
April 14, 201214 yr Author Are you using A2A's accufeel by any chance? If so disable it :) YES! Accufeel has wrong settings for max Airspeed (122 kts) which causes the C90 to vibrate. I've dissabled Accufeel for the King Air and now everything works fine. THANKS for your help, guys!! Allways three greens,Markus VFR-Flightsimmer.de

April 15, 201214 yr Why don't you just correct the setting??? My question too.. Its a shame to swiotch something of if it can be corrected in C90.. accusim is not the problem here. the file in C90 is wrong.
