April 24, 201214 yr Well they are selling both the B60 together with the Turbine. But I'm thinking with the other planes I have I may not even fly the B60. Question to other owners of both - do you still fly the Piston Duke if you have the Turbine? Or once you fly the Turbine you just never go back?
April 24, 201214 yr I still Love my B60 Piston,I love how she sounds!! :Big Grin: 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick

April 24, 201214 yr I fly the B60 more than the turbine tbh.. All a matter of taste.. April 24, 201214 yr I like the speed and climb perf of the turbine over the piston... I rarely fly the piston - but it's still an excellent addon. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 24, 201214 yr I have both but only fly the Turbine. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
April 24, 201214 yr Having both, I really love to have the possibility to decide which one to use! It depends on the route I fly. For longer distances and shorter fields, I choose the Turbine Duke, so many possibilities with this beauty. But I still fly the piston Duke quite frequently. The sound going from idle to full throttle is just wonderful!
April 24, 201214 yr Commercial Member ...turbine mostly..but the more nice sound argument is valid :) __________________________________________________________________________________________ My FS Photos - My MSFS Settings - i7-14700K / 64GB RAM / MSI 4070 Ti SUPER / 1440p
April 24, 201214 yr Have both, flying both. The turbine is the better looking and sounding for me, but her super powers render it too easy or too fast for some stuff. So I sometimes take the piston and ride in style with adjusting the mixture and things. But if I had to buy just one, it would be the turbine I think.

April 24, 201214 yr Both keep me happy :) Like has already been said: Piston for short hops Turbine for long jaunts And they both work in P3D (no RXP though) Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
April 26, 201214 yr Author Thanks guys Theres many other nice twins to choose from as well, so maybe just the Turbine, then maybe the Milviz as well. Although if I do go RXP then Dukes would be better I guess as apparently all other planes make RXP flat looking except the Duke integration. How is the RealAir GPS? Default FSX?
April 26, 201214 yr Sounds like a nice combo and gives you two very different planes to explore. The Milviz actually integrates the RXP units nicely, although not being designed like the Dukes, with the model switching in mind. But you won't get flat looking gauges in the C310 if you use the 3D model of the default ones and add the RXP units. The C310 does offer an extra flat panel for all sorts of edits, but if you just keep her standard one, not the 'freeradio' and not the 'G1000' and replace the gauge names, the effect for the RXP units is much better in my eyes. The Realair GPS is a tweaked default one, yes.
