April 24, 201214 yr Just got an email from them. Rob http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php?accion=product&correl=65ion=incomview&correl=69
April 24, 201214 yr Looks really good! I look forward for a review :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
April 24, 201214 yr Just took her for a spin... Excellent, some really nice enhancements, especially sound ! Try to open the window during flight ! Also, the dual throttle/rpm/mixture manipulators are absolutely perfect ! Cheers ! Pascal
April 24, 201214 yr also had a first short spin and a good impression. But: no switch for the beacon light? where is it? :o And what are all the switches just behind the fuel selector for? * 2010 MacPro, 27' display * Snow Leopard * XP10 *
April 24, 201214 yr Has the cockpit been updated at all? 3D Gauges? or new textures? THX 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
April 25, 201214 yr How does it fly in XPX? I've got my XP payware 'liner covered with the Heinz 787. I'm considering adding a good quality pw GA to my lineup, but want to be sure there aren't any major problems to consider when running it in XPX. April 26, 201214 yr Carenados Seneca II will not work with Gizmo plugin installed. If you have a plane that requires Gizmo, you must uninstall Gizmo for the Seneca to work. In my setup with Gizmo installed, the FPS falls to 2 and the sound is awful. Uninstall Gizmo, the sound is awesome and FPS goes back to normal. Very easy plane to fly, trim is near perfect. Looks and flies very well. Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
April 26, 201214 yr Commercial Member Can I just correct you, Donald. Don't "uninstall" Gizmo. Just move the Gizmo folder to your desktop. Then drop back in when using an add on that needs it.
April 26, 201214 yr There's a great post here about this Seneca: B) http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2012/04/24/xp10reviews-first-impressions-carenado-pa34-seneca-ii/ Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
April 26, 201214 yr Carenados Seneca II will not work with Gizmo plugin installed. Not everyone is affected. I am using a Mac and never had these issues although I use a variety of aircraft with either Gizmo or Sasl. Lucky me. But trust me, I have my own issues with XP10 :o * 2010 MacPro, 27' display * Snow Leopard * XP10 *
April 26, 201214 yr GoranM[/color]' timestamp='1335413841' post='2351413']Can I just correct you, Donald. Actually that's what I meant by uninstalling, and in fact what I do. Thanks, a better way of saying it. Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
April 26, 201214 yr Carenados Seneca II will not work with Gizmo plugin installed. I can't confirm for sure..maybe Goran or Cameron can elaborate, but seems like I heard that at some point, Gizmo will go 'aircraft specific' to alleviate some of the problems of global plugins.
April 26, 201214 yr And not before time !! Alternatives to above attempts to get around global plugin fouling is to use the freeware program "XAddonManager". Now back to trying to take off the CF104 vers2.3 without overspeeding the gear....help. TIM
