April 27, 201214 yr Really not a good start for the Ivy....phew http://www.legitrevi...article/1917/1/ From reading the article it is not Ivy's fault. This is just typical Gigabyte. BTW, I am not flaming Gigabyte, I have owned 3 boards in the past. Just saying they are often late to the party or late in creating fixes.
April 27, 201214 yr Wasn't the Asus with P67 in the same game? Totally faulty boards, not only the chipset problem... needed 3 revisions to half-fix it, until today is only almost working...
April 27, 201214 yr Word Not Allowed[/color]' timestamp='1335549842' post='2353211']Wasn't the Asus with P67 in the same game? Hello Asus Sabertooth P67 has been totally problem free here since June last year, can't speak for any of their other boards though.

Know of nothing else, no other issues.
April 27, 201214 yr Stephen. I have owned the first P8P67 regular (southbridge problems from Intel), and the Deluxe B3. The sleep function was not functioning as should (if you let the PC sleep for an hour or more, the PC was not responding correctly or the mouse was frozen.... The P8P67 3.1 was OK, as well as the Z68, in this matter. If you do a search in google for P8P67 and Sleep, you´ll find hundreds or thousand entries. Other than that , i am a loyal ASUS customer. Best. Miquel.
April 28, 201214 yr I'm looking at all these fancy new Z77 motherboards and none of them (micro atx form) support intel SRT -- whats going on here?! Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
April 28, 201214 yr My Z68 Maximus extreme wont wake at all from sleep, so it is not fixed in the Z68 I can assure you, overclocked or not the PCI-E slots will not reinitialise properly and you have to power cycle the PSU for 10 seconds to get it to work again, if you don't in wont POST. Cheers, Andy.
April 28, 201214 yr So then, the nightmare continues... I tested one Z68 Deluxe Gen3 and was working perfectly. In ASUS forums, there was not complaints about it as in other models with P67. BTW a Gigabyte Z68X UD4 B3 was working perfectly, too. Best. Miquel Egea

Hi Miquel, I never tried using the sleep function so don't know if it is a problem on this particular mother board or not. All I am saying is that I have demanded a lot from my Asus P8P67 Deluxe ever since they first came out and have gotten it flawlessly. Have not had a single problem. Can't speak for yours or any other person's experience with them though. Kind regards,
April 29, 201214 yr Is this right that you need a Z77 motherboard? Thought the idea was to make it compatible with existing chipsets?
