June 21, 201213 yr I completely agree, Alex. GSX pushback>FMC pushback. Hmmm nearly there :P GSX pushback >> FMC pushback Lukas "TIN TIN -=9th Shrek=-" Mathijsen
June 21, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi guys, I have always been an avid AES user. I bought GSX and it was 10times more functional than I could have ever imagined. I had in my head manual push backs by using the rudder. NO way, Every airport it has pushed back perfectly, It works very different from AES, which doesn't 'push back' it kind of puts the aircraft into a slew [no moving wheels etc].. GSX is hands down sublime, and I would recommend it to EVERYONE over AES. Alex Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK
June 21, 201213 yr $40 felt like a steal for it, absolute steal. Biggest problem is I end up leaving the gate late for flights each time because I have too much fun watching the ground crews do all the work now. M. Starks - Senior Charter Pilot

June 21, 201213 yr Indeed it is, thanks. Your first shot looks crazy cool. This addon is going to be BEAST when the 777 comes out... DC-6? Not so much. :LMAO: i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
June 21, 201213 yr I had been using AES for a long time. I tried GSX and instantly loved it! No regrets and a one-time price. If you like airliners, then these go a long way on increasing immersion. In fact these + FS2Crew + PMDG = procedures heaven. June 22, 201213 yr I am late to the conversation but I have to agree with all of the comments except it does have a couple minor draw backs which I have discovered. On my last flight I landed in VHHX (returning to the Queen after a very long absence) and all the gates were numbered as zero and I was unable to activate any service. I have not spent too much time investigating if there was a solution yet but it was frustrating after such a long haul. I have come to rely on this addon and it feels like there is something missing when I doesn't work. In addition it does not work at ORBX Ketchikan PAKT because of the way the airport is built. Over all it is a fantastic product. I look forward to improvements. I thought that I had read somewhere on the FSDT forum that they were thinking of trying to implemented actual moving passengers! With all the addons that you have, it seems to me that you like to follow real world procedures. GSX probably doesn't work in Kai Tak because the airport closed in... umm... 1998? Also, I doubt that there are any catering services in Ketchikan, as Alaska is the only operator there and their flights are very short (They fly to Anchorage, Seattle, Juneau, etc.) i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB

It is a popular airport for the customers. As far as PAKT is concerned I would think that they have baggage loaders at the least. Mike Keigley

As far as PAKT is concerned I would think that they have baggage loaders at the least. I think it may be the scenery in these locations rather than GSX. Perhaps an addon AFCAD might fix this issue, an AFCAD with actual parking spots placed out and with "maximum size" of "Big enough for the aircraft you're flying". I'v seen a few places where the AFCAD is either missing or otherwise odd (no parking spots bigger than Cessna sized in the AFCAD even though there's a yellow line where you are obviously meant to be parking etc). As far as the VHHH, This also may be AFCAD, Do you have an addon scenery for VHHH? I seem to remember one where all the gate parking locations were called "Gate 0". You may need to give them actual numbers, ie "Gate 1" and "Gate 2" etc if you know how to change AFCAD's. There may also be some fixes available in this very library. Careful though, if you mis-match AFCAD's to scenery you sometimes find the "Parking Spot" where GSX sees it, isn't where you can see the yellow lines lining up with, and your Marshaller may well direct you 20 ft to the left of, at an odd angle to, and partially inside the building of the gate you selected, or you might get pushed back onto the grass etc. Trent Hopkinson Trent Hopkinson, 2015 Crewmember of www.mangrove.com.au WorldFlight sim Youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/musicalaviator
June 24, 201213 yr If you got a problem than post it in the fsdt forum where you will get the solution plus you can also adjust the parking etc using the new settings in the gsx settings to suit your aircraft its all in the gsx manual I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
