We had a similar thing a few years ago at EIN. Gráinne Cronin was the second ever female airline pilot in the world, with SAS having the first. We also have the world's first ever female chief pilot, Davina Pratt. Our first ever all female flight was in 1988 IIRC.

The thing is, nobody these days would have unselfconsciously made similar generalisations on this site that used the word 'Jews', or any other category of humanity, for that matter.

I'll certainly toss my name in the ring for it, what comes of that has yet to be seen. She'll just be returning to flying the line. Funnily enough, my seniority number is higher up than her's by 1 [muhahaha], so she'll be in for a bit of a shock when she does return, and I'll no longer be the third most junior captain on the 330!!! Good news all round.
