July 12, 201213 yr Quite a nice feature, Only there is one thing "wrong" well so far I only did one new flight from LFPG to EGLL. The Approaches are in the correct order, ILSs are together and all, only the transition are back ordered, so my approach was for example ILS27R, with a transition at BIG, but once I had selected the ILS27R BIG was at the end of the list while it is the first alphabetically. No real big deal but that looks weird as every other list is alphabetically ordered ;) Aurelien Vandoorine
July 12, 201213 yr Hey fellas, I don't think this is too much off topic... can anyone explan to me, why, when I get the latest updated navigraph data that the SIDS and STARS don't always read exactly the same as in the CDU? eg a STAR maybe BISET1D but when choosing the STAR in the CDU it may read BISEN1D or NISET1D these are not real STARS just an example...I'm fairly new to SIDS and STARS and so this is something that confuses my small mind! Help as always, appreciated, cheers guys. July 12, 201213 yr Great news and thanks for this Ryan! A comment on Navigraph in general: As mentioned above, you really have to know that the credits are time limited. You need to use up your credits within the 270 days, or they will expire... I have to admit it is the one thing about the Navigraph system that really bugs me. I see no real need to update every month, in the real world for AOC owners yes, but not for my simulation... 100 credits buys me 5 cycles, and each cycle is generally good for at least 3 months on average, sometimes longer... Unfortunately, I am forced to update every second month or lose my remaining credits... :( A Andrew Entwistle
July 12, 201213 yr I update all the Navigraph data regularly, but then again I do suffer with a bit of OCD! July 28, 201213 yr If you guys download the 1207 version 3 cycle you'll notice that they've implemented alphabetical sorting of approaches at our request. This means you'll actually get the ILSes at the top of the DEP/ARR page approach list like they are in the real airplane and the less common approaches like NDB, VOR etc down further below them. Nice little time saver at most airports... Several bugs were fixed in this cycle too including the one that was causing approaches with just a runway to appear and screw up the approach list in the FMC, an issue that was causing certain waypoints to not appear in STARs and a couple other small things. I'm working with Richard on some more enhancements/fixes for the next cycle too. Ryan, with this next cycle (1208) now installed, can you confirm if the 'more enhancements/fixes' are now available? If so, can you elaborate on some of them? Thanks! Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
July 30, 201213 yr I just change the numbers in one of the text files so it always reads the current AIRAC cycle in the FMC. Dev Singh

That's cool - but I'm sure in-flight WiFi can't be cheap. Thanks for the high-flying reply! :) Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE

July 31, 201213 yr Actually it was pretty cheap - $5 per day. Almost all Norwegians 737-800 (around 50 planes so far) have wi-fi and that is for free to use. Kind regards Peter
