I'd prefer a sooner release, IIRC Rob said that the graphics Dept. was behind the Systems Dept. so this'd just add to the workload, besides, you can act as a passenger any day of the week, the majority can not say the same of acting the pilot..... The cabin built into the external model is great IMHO as it moves when you pan the camera around the aircraft if you get what I mean, and you can see the seats at the wingview....

I would absolutely love to have a cabin, if their were no consequences of having one.

 

Unfortunately, having a cabin means lower FPS, fewer polygons in the flight deck, longer wait times for release, etc al. At those costs, I can't say that a cabin is what I'd want.

 

If, however, PMDG finds a way around the obvious consequences of having a cabin, I will absolutely support them.

Well... Really liked the virtual cabin in the pmdg744 ...the CS777 cabin is awsome and I hope that PMDG in the future return to the virtual cabin world.

I think Virtual Cabin is useless, but maybe they can make pilots rest area, so we can use it for long flights

I would prefer they concentrated on the cockpit and exterior for visuals. The NGX interior cabin is good enough for me. I don't wander through the aircraft. Just my opinion.

It would be a great shame if PMDG for some reason decided to spend resources on modelling the cabin and not adding a 2d panel. That would be totally incomprehensible to me

I voted no because seeing rows of empty seats IMO does not add anything to the simulation.

Seriously, this poll shows that PMDG is actually used by people interested into simulation of flying, not a simulation of travelling. I am glad about it.

I guess something like this would have to be the plan before entering development, rather than when they're probably getting ready for beta! I think more people would appreciate 2-D Panels than Cabins.
