560Ti ought to do the trick? Haven't taken it up on their support forum yet, will do that ASAP. Your pics look fantastic, would be nice to get to see those textures. I think this qualifies as blurry:

LOL, OK, you're way more picky than I am, I just was appreciating things from a normal distance, but yes

when I zoom in close on that red bar I agree its a bit blurry.... but I would never normally notice, and as

I said, live with the textures on some of the older stuff and this is bliss.

I want to purchase the product assuming we can purchase or obtain Sara's higher quality 4096 VC textures with color options at some point. Sara alluded that they should be released, just unsure of how. Just want to confirm that they will be released before I commit and purchase the product as I really want to run only the 4096 VC textures. They look very good, even better in the other colors; pretty good idea on their part!

So, I finally installed and flew it this weekend. Generally, I do like it. Some of the issues that people harp on here: "blurries" and low FPS were not horrible. Over default scenery with REX Essentials running in mid to high clouds, it ran smoothly enough. Completely flyable. And yeah, there are a few blew textures, but they don't really effect the gauges. I don't think I'll be returning this.

 

But, I do have some strange errors: first, it didn't install right the first time, so I re-installed. And sometimes when I start FSX it hangs in a way where it doesn't load properly (so that no menus are visible) and the only thing I can do is Alt-F4 and reboot. Not sure why the add-on would cause that, but it never happened before. I also had a nasty CTD when trying to load a saved flight. Is that jut me? I hope someone else can load a saved flight without a CTD as I tend to save flights all the time (parenting and simming usually can't be done at the same time).

 

I find tuning the ADF very hard. More on that later.

No idea on the Installation Issue,

that might be one to being up with Flight One, and same with the save.

I'll have a pop at a saved flight later though, see if I get that too, never tried it myself with the DC9.

 

The ADF will be fixed and Should br in the first patch / service pack, whatever you wish to call it

Thanks. The registered forum has some solutions for a few of the minor annoyances like the Jetways not working, etc. Generally I'm fairly happy.

I have honestly never heard of any addon requiring this...

Maybe I am picky, but I think perhaps this screenshot shows just how bad it looks better:

 

Right now even the Leonardo Maddog looks crisper on my rig, and that's a few years old now. I've got the impression that one of the selling points of this addon was the textures. This doesn't look quite right. Still, I'll hold on and wait for a SP or something, and I have no reason to doubt that Espen and the crew will fix it. If it draws nears four weeks, I'll return it under the Flight1 return policy and I'll gladly buy it again if/when I've gotten word that it's been fixed.

Is that with Textures set to 2048 or higher?

 

I know that's not the 4096 set, but it shouldn't look that blurred, I son't see the bump maps working either.

This is exactly what's happeneing with me, TML set to 4096 but I have the same crispness(or lack therefore of) that 747-fan is experiencing

All i can say is these are the settings I use.

just did a clean install, so all my textures are as released (2048x2048) and i get this...

My settings are on the computer i mentioned on page 10 of this topic.

 

These are just the stock nvidia drivers settings I use.

Nvidia - Everything Application Controlled except

Negative Lod Bias - Allow

Texture Filter Quality - High

 

In FSX -

Graphics Tab - Global - Ultra High

1920x1200x32

DX10

Bilinear,

Antialiasing box, Lens Flare, & advanced animations boxes ticked.

Aircraft Tab - Hires tick box ticked.
