You have to use the dispatch manager. At any rate, I would take Sara's advice and register for the official support forums, you'll get much faster help with any issues you may have.

Todd's advice is sound, and I will add that your problems seems like a permissions issue (Windows related). Are you running FSX as Administrator?

Why would it be a permissions issue? I can change the number of passengers with the dispatch manager, and also the amount of fuel. However, even after I have removed ALL of the passengers, those two stations still have roughly 600kg and 800kg in them respectively. I can't see any option to remove cargo, or anything else.....

Just a thought - maybe it's crew and food/drinks weight, since they're not included in the empty weight of the aircraft.

I worked out how to do it. There is a separate checklist accessed from the Dispatch Manager that can be used to change the weight and position of cargo etc. However, I am now getting a "bounce" issue after touchdown that sometimes results in the thrust reversers not engaging properly.

I should have saved my money, and stuck with the PMDG 737 NGX and QW Avro RJ for most of my flights. These are easily the two best payware airliners that I have purchased. The DC9 just has a few "niggles" that make it slightly less comfortable to hand fly "low and slow" than the other two.

Those seem like problems on your end that do not affect other DC9 users though

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying that the DC9 is a bad product. It's just that I realise now that the 737 and RJ are good enough for my requirements, and I didn't really need another payware airliner.

Sorry to pull this topic back up - but now it being August how are people finding this plane? As I am looking for something to tide me over till the big twin engine long haul aircraft is released this month hopefully ;)

I read there were performance issues at first for some people? Have those been fixed with the SP's?

Thanks,

Ryan Taylor

Awesome plane. In my top 3.

I wouldn't wait any longer.

The one thing I would like though is an option to add a TCAS gauge to the model. Because I fly this plane in 2013, and most areas (not all) of the world require a TCAS. I don't get what the big deal is if its a selectable option to turn on or off in the flight centre. I'm not asking for an FMC lol, just TCAS

Lee

Oh and performance isn't an issue

Perfect, just going to head over to Flight1 now. Thanks for the quick response Lee!

When I use it, I love it. It's a lovely aircraft, and performance wise its great on my system. Coolsky's NavSim and the flight center thing (sorry I'm blanking on the name right now) is truly great. If you're into some radio navigation and loud smoky JT8Ds, it's a must buy!
