September 14, 201213 yr I would have a look at the coolsky DC-9 mate. Ehh..... I've heard very mixed opinions...
September 14, 201213 yr I have to admit Dave, it doesn't really 'float my boat' HowardMSI Mag B650 Tomahawk MB, Ryzen7-7800X3D CPU@5ghz, Arctic AIO II 360 cooler, Nvidia RTX4090 GPU, 32gb DDR5@6000Mhz, SSD/2Tb+SSD/500Gb+OS, Corsair 1000W PSU, LG Ultragear 48"4K, MFG Crosswinds, TQ6 Throttle, Fulcrum One YokeMy FlightSim YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@skyhigh776
September 14, 201213 yr Then it's the Bus for you then Howard :wink2: I think I will wait for the FSLabs bus as I think it will be more PMDG grade. Ben there is nothing wrong with the DC-9. September 14, 201213 yr Replacing a knee isn't exactly something most software designers know how to do either. Really? I'm amazed...
September 14, 201213 yr Ben there is nothing wrong with the DC-9. I have yet to see any conclusive evidence that shows it doesn't have any bugs. Every since I wasted 47 bucks on an undisclosed aircraft, I am very cautious when I make FS purchases... Especially in regard to aircraft. I will hold off on the DC-9 until I can see some in game footage, more screenshots, a review, and many more genuine customer testimonials.
September 17, 201213 yr IMHO, i will buy the extended version annyways, already have the first when they came out with it, indeed the modelling as textures are very good, though on the other hand i will be safing money for the FSL airbus too, because the difference between them is more the coding, which i think is still a problem in the AS hangar, but as i said its my opinion and with all do repect it still a nice product! Best Regards,
September 17, 201213 yr This one is definitely for me. This is the best Airbus ever in FSX. Are we just a few hours from release? David Chen
September 17, 201213 yr The FSLabs one you mean. Sorry but it is not about to release in months. David Chen
September 17, 201213 yr The attitude of some people in this hobby just amazes me. Aerosoft as far as I can see have been up front about what is happening re the A320 extended. They even listed the problems which had to be rectified before they could release it. And for all their trouble, they get stupid outburts from people about playing games. I can see why PMDG and others say nothing until it is released. As for Dr Orthopaedic surgeon, I hope you know how to go in and replace a knee. It has taken enough years of training to get there. Anyone whi knows about writing code for software programmes knows that it is not always straight forward. A change in one sub-programme can cause unexpected results in the running of another sub-programme when compiled. To moan over a few days delay is just pathetic. I will get off my soap box now
September 17, 201213 yr I'm tired of software developers that can't meet criteria they set upon themselves. Always, we get the talk about "you just don't know how complicated software is to develop." Sure don't, I'm an orthopaedic surgeon in real life. If I walked in to a patient's room in the morning and said "you know that knee replacement we planned for today, well we're going to do it next week instead...tentatively.", I'd have very few if any patients. Replacing a knee isn't exactly something most software designers know how to do either. About time someone said that. I'm also tired of that kinda talk. Everyone should be expected to do his job properly, whatever it may be. Rolf Lindbom

September 17, 201213 yr You're right CraigyW. Aerosoft have delayed due to a bug, not because they want to mess people around. Most FS Developers wont give any release date info at all, so I for one congratulate Mathijs and the team for keeping everyone in the loop as regards to projected release dates, don't forget a lot of the Airbus X Extended has been rewritten from scratch, its not just an update of the original Airbus X. Give Aerosoft a little more time to fix these last few issues and deliver a stable product to you, it will be worth the wait! Regards,Alan Norris Live Video Stream : http://www.twitch.tv/aystertv
