I'm a long time user of HiFi Sim software and I've always been very happy with both their software and support so I'm sure they will let us know what's happening real soon and hopefully fix the problems.

 

Must admit though I'm a little bit surprised we haven't heard anything yet.

Servers are now down for more than 10 hours .. No Word at all from Hifi! That ist ridiculous!

 

It's seems that there is simply nobody in the "office" .. For a Freeware Product, i would not care, but we are paying customers!

No there not. At least in the eastern US that is...

I picked a heck of a day to upgrade from ASE to AS2012 at 4am EDT. Filed a trouble ticket, since I could get to every site on the internet except Avsim.com, so did not know about the server issues. Do you suppose that HiFi and Avsim use the same host company?

This truly is pathetic, considering you pay that much money for something that relys on servers to function, and then there is close to no communication from the Developer other then a blant "We are aware about this issue, we are working on this." several hours after it started. Makes me wonder if I will ever buy one of their products again, I used to be very statisfied with it up until now.

If you guys look above they said they were aware of the problem. What does that mean for you? I know this is extremely hard for some of you but chill out and go outside and get some fresh air. Whinning is not gonna get it fixed any faster. If you gotta fly that bad you can use FSX, Squawkbox, FSINN or REX Weather engines. It's not the end of the world!

You've been "satisfied with it up until now"? This truly shows the extent of your support for such a niche product and company -- and ultimately this hobby.

 

These comments are truly ridiculous. I'm not happy that I can't get my AS2012 weather up and running, but I've never had issues before. Hardware issues will happen, it's the nature of the beast. Try and log into Steam right now and you'll notice --despite the millions and millions of users-- their servers have been down for the past 4 hours for maintenance. Get a grip, folks.
