September 26, 201213 yr MYB, I know you just purchased it, but do you notice any difference in regards to the Navigraph data?
September 26, 201213 yr The Navigraph monopoly is finally over!! Mathijs was saying this a real-world database (LINDO) and its accurate. I asked him about some small Airport in Australia and they are covered with RNAV Approaches so that makes me think the world-wide coverage is going to be plentiful, accurate and updated. Im so glad I don't have to Navigraph anymore! Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
September 26, 201213 yr Author MYB, I know you just purchased it, but do you notice any difference in regards to the Navigraph data? I just installed it and I did not even fire up fsx yet.The database (LIDO)is from LH.

September 28, 201213 yr Aerosoft NavDataPro only updates software and addons, it does not provide any charts, so Navigraph will still be essential for updated charts that match the new nav data, as far as I can see. I sure can't afford to buy real world airport chart subscriptions. I still have a years subscription for Navigraph, so I guess I will wait till that expires to try this. Robert Yunque
September 28, 201213 yr Aerosoft NavDataPro only updates software and addons, it does not provide any charts Do I understand correctly - there are no charts like NDAC of Navigraph ? Then this is for sure not of much use for me. And BTW, charts purchased from Navigraph do not expire. Its only for the FMS data you need to pay per cycle (or per year). September 28, 201213 yr Do I understand correctly - there are no charts like NDAC of Navigraph ? Then this is for sure not of much use for me. And BTW, charts purchased from Navigraph do not expire. Its only for the FMS data you need to pay per cycle (or per year). As far as I can see, Aerosoft is not providing any chart service for FS. charts purchased from Navigraph do not expire. I don't believe that's completely correct. The airport diagrams have to coincide with the updated nav data. The FMC nav data will alter SIDs and STARs which have to be reflected in the new airport diagrams. Your airport diagrams will expire. Also runways can even change numbers depending on magnetic north. Both the Navigraph nDAC airport diagrams and airway charts are periodically updated by Navigraph. The airway charts can be viewed on Skyvector.com, but Navigraph has the corner on updated airport diagrams for FS. I just find it frustrating that many airports are missing from their database. September 28, 201213 yr As far as I can see, Aerosoft is not providing any chart service for FS. If true this kills it for me - I want to be able to look at the charts. I don't believe that's completely correct. The airport diagrams have to coincide with the updated nav data. I did not express myself correctly - sorry. You are of course right - over time the charts loose their validity and if you want to be absolutely up-to-date you have to pay for the newer version. For my flying I have rarely come accross an airport that was not included with Navigraph. Erhard I9 11900k RTX 3080 TI 3 x 55" LED TV 4K, 2 more PCs for displays and hardware connection Prosim A320
September 28, 201213 yr As NavDataPro updates Aivlasoft EFB, you can use that to view the (on-the-fly) charts from within. If you have it of course.
September 28, 201213 yr Most charts can be found online for free........ Part of the fun for me is using these online charts from various places. I check each waypoint vs the fmc and make changes to match the chart. Gives me good practice in managing the fmc. I never like the ndac charts so for me its a no brainer.
