How the rest of the world will see Aerofly

Featured Replies

In this community, with simulator pilots (with some real pilots mixed in) being the vast majority, I often think we forget what these games/sims look like to the vast majority of the rest of humanity. I don't think this guy will ever be concerned (ever!) with accurate climb rates, yet without him, a sim will never make enough money nowadays to be commercially viable. I'm glad he's happy!

Consider this the the ultimate non-simmer review. (Fair warning, there is one quick curse at the beginning)

Twiggys, I have no idea what that screen shot has to do with this thread, but thanks for resurrecting it. That video was incredible.

It's all too easy to forget how much pure fun a flight sim can be, and we need things like this to remind us once in a while. See the world through new eyes.

lol!!! Larry; this was intended for the "Changing the time of day in Aerofly" topic.

See what happens when your 2 year son wants nothing more than to sit in his daddy lap an fly, you get distracted. At 2 yrs; he too, has the flying bug.

He's actually very funny, one of the only people i subscribe to on YouTube. Watch some of his other reviews, the 'Garbage Truck Simulator' one is very funny.

For those of you who found him funny he has just done FSX:

It's pretty painful to watch, but very funny.

Thus is displayed the experience of the vast majority of regular people who try FSX and after one or two attempts never come back again. We wont even discuss Xplane.......

Yes, typical of nearly everyone, he goes first for the "most difficult" aircraft in the hangar, instead of one of the relatively docile ones...

I've always thought that FS would have been much better had it forced the new simpilot to go through a training program, and only "unlocking" progressively more complex aircraft after having passed a flight check and solo flights...
